I ordered a carrot cake and confirmed on the phone that they used cream cheese icing for it and was told “of course”. We had the cake last night and it was buttercream icing. The cake itself was good but the icing kind of ruined the cake. I’d pass on the carrot cakes from here.
I needed a cake for an engagement party (with short notice) and Amandine bakery far exceeded my expectations! They were accommodating, friendly, and efficient.
The cake turned out beautifully and was the star of the show. Highly recommend supporting this local bakery. 5 stars! :)

We got to try a dozen of their fruit tarts and they were very enjoyable. The tarts themselves were crispy and were covered with a dark chocolate layer. The fruits were sweetened on the outside as well. It was a nice mixture of textures between the soft custard, crispy tart, and fruit.
In terms of proportions of the tart, I would have preferred a thinner crust (and more custard in the tart) and it was sometimes hard to appreciate the custard due to the chocolate...
