Happy Lotus Vegie is a hidden gem in Calgary for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful vegetarian and vegan food. Had the saturday buffet lunch. Food was really good. They change the menu weekly so there is variety. Staff is super friendly. Been looking for a chinese vegetarian food place for a while and this hits home. A la carte menu at other times.
2nd time coming here on a weekend for their AYCE lunch buffet. The owner is from Hong Kong and is very accommodating. She takes the time and effort to connect with her diners at every table. The kitchen rotates through delicious soups, entrees, appetizers and desserts. For the summer months, they focus on natural and herbal fruits and drinks.
