We came in with high expectations (visiting from Edmonton) based on the reviews, but were quite disappointed. Our food took almost 2 hours to arrive. The taste was fine, but nothing special.
Wow just incredible food. Always tastes like home.
We came on Sunday becyof the amazing reviews. However, we are disappointed to find out that the rice was dry and undercooked. The restaurant looked understaffed: many tables weren’t cleaned and had leftover food.
Excellent service, great tasting foods.
Great late-night spot! Amihan has a cozy ambiance and is open until 1AM, so perfect for night owls and post-bar food trips. Shoutout to Ate Yaz for being super friendly and accommodating to us 🥰
Tried the Pika Bucket with kwek-kwek, fishball, kikiam, shanghai, and crispy chicken skin (this was the best!) Would’ve loved a sweet style sauce like in the Philippines, but still flavorful and satisfying.
Fair prices, good portions. Definitely coming back!
Superb food and service!
The food is great and yummy. The server (her name is Yas) is very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend trying their food !! :))
Came around 10pm and the crew, Yas was very attentive and prepared a table for us right away. They were also able to accommodate my requests! Highly recommend their ube cake:)
Staffs are accomodating, friendly. food is amazing and delicious.
Being inside the restaurant, for a moment, I thought I was back home. 🇵🇭 The ambiance and service is very Filipino. Love the food! I got the sisig bowl and have been craving for it for awhile now. Cravings satisfied for sure, tastes like home. Thanks Amihan 💜

Everything was great
Came here on Father’s Day for lunch. It looked a bit busy, but we really wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing.
No one greeted us when we arrived—we had to go up to the front ourselves to find out it was self-seating and that we had to order at the counter. After getting seated, it took over 30 minutes just to get our appetizers. We also had to follow up just to receive water and utensils. Our main dishes arrived another 20–30 minutes later, and we still didn’t have plates at that point.
We ordered the Family Box 1. When the food arrived it was lukewarm. The flavor of the meat was alright, but everything was very dry. The food was just okay—not enough to make up for the long wait and disorganized service.
We also ordered lomi, but after we finished our entire meal, it still hadn’t arrived. We asked for it to-go, waited even longer, and still didn’t get it. The server told us it would be 3 more minutes. Eventually, we left the restaurant and completely forgot about it because of how long everything was taking.
I understand it was a busy day, and I don’t blame the server—he was doing his best. But the restaurant clearly wasn’t staffed properly for a busy day like Father’s Day. Most of our time there was spent just waiting. Based on this experience, I would not come back.
It was fantastic. It feels like home and the service is top-tier. Will definitely go hack and recommend to my friends.
