Disappointing Service
The service at this restaurant left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we had to wait 15-20 minutes just to get a server’s attention. It was also strange to be told the washroom isn’t public after sitting there for half an hour as paying customers. The overall experience felt unwelcoming and poorly managed. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend based on this visit.

Reservation at 6pm. Staff greeted us as we walked in. They took us upstairs to the second floor dining area. They sat us at a long table. We had a newborn baby in the party therefore we went to a nearby table to grab some chairs. Staff immediately took the chairs from our hands and said that he needed to check before removing the chairs. That's fine and understandable. The service so far did not impress. I have much more to say but it would take me 15 extra minutes to type this out...food was delicious. Almost ordered the entire food menu and everytime our server came to drop off the food she'd "auction" off the plates. This was incredibly annoying as she was the one that took our individual orders...was it that difficult to drop off the plates of food in front of us?! This was continuous throughout the evening as we also ordered alcoholic beverages, consumed by the same 2-3 individuals and each time our server would have to "auction off" the drinks. Is it that hard to remember or use seat numbers? We repeatedly asked for hot water refills maybe 3 times throughout our meal only to have a small kettle brought to us near the end of the night. Service was poor, food was great. I had chicken curry with coconut rice, twas good but very saucy and drowned the coconut rice. The Bun Bo Hue lacked enough meat but was pleasantly spiced and spicy. Rant aside, the chicken wings were the highlight - wish we had more. Would I return back? Most likely not.

The food was excellent, but the service was disappointingly slow. Entrées were served one by one instead of all at once, which meant that by the time the last person received their meal, everyone else had already finished eating.
This place is better suited for smaller groups (fewer than three people), but I would recommend considering other options if you're dining with a larger party.

Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to try different styles of Vietnamese food. This Vietnamese restaurant offers a variety of dishes that you can’t find around Calgary! We tried several items from the menu, and everything was quite good. I had the crab fried rice, and it was delicious—flavorful, but not as bold as Thai or Indonesian fried rice. Definitely worth a try. We'll be coming back to explore more dishes.

I ordered an order of salad rolls to go, it was $13 dollars and came with one salad roll cut up into 5 pieces. Not worth the money, which is disappointing as I live near by and was excited to have a new go to Vietnamese restaurant.

11/10. Eating in this restaurant was nothing more than a spiritual experience. The taste of the ox tail pho on my tongue was like tasting food for the first time in my life. I’m gonna start coming here every Sunday instead of church. Excellent, excellent, IMMACULATE!

A bit tough to get a seat for lunch on the weekend. But the dishes had authenticity and were enjoyable as a whole. The Bun Bo Hue was very big.

Adorable place, stumbled on it randomly. Can't express how good everything was. Had the pho bahmi soup on special, as recommended by our server. It was fantastic.
