I ordered a chicken kebab to eat in. The sides were generous and quite tasty, but unfortunately, the chicken itself was overcooked, dry, and lacking seasoning.

Additionally, the staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other and taking phone calls than attending to customers. The wait time was also longer than expected.

Overall, I came in with higher expectations and left disappointed.

yesterday I went and tried their lamb shank, it was really good, the lamb was soft and was covered in a tomato sauce, it went really well with everything else

Food is good but what I don’t get is the small doner shop mentality of not serving water and making people buy drinks even if they don’t want to. It doesn’t suit them considering they spent so much money on making the interior look good.

This is the Holy Grail for a Turkish experience in Calgary!

The trifecta of good food, beautiful treasure and the wealth of knowledge Jack has is all there.

If you've ever been or have ever wanted to go, this place a bit of Turkiye!

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Meats were cooked perfectly and the restaraunt was very lively

Tasteless overpriced pastry. Avoid

I got the lamb shank platter, and the proportion is less than what I had it on May 2024. Still pretty good!

First time trying their Lahmacun, and soo worth it if you don't mind lamb.

Lamb shank portion has been increasing in price and getting smaller, and the lamb itself was bland. No spices-only a tomato sauce, so you’re better off getting braised lamb shanks elsewhere if you want flavour. (Still a decent buy for the price)
Simit was pretty tasty albeit expensive and the “ramadan pide” was also expensive for the size.
I think next time I would just pick up some boreks instead.
