Our server was really nice! He was super organized, went out of his way to clear the table when needed, moved things around to make more space and was attentive to our needs. He also was organized for bills which was super nice at the end of the evening. HOWEVER, I hated the table we were given, the area and the table itself was unenjoyable. The music was so loud I could barely hear someone talking that was sitting 2 seats away from me. The temperature in the restaurant was SO hot for the type of weather so it did feel uncomfortable at times. I would say that the ambience was a 2/5 for me. The appys and drinks however, never disappoint!! I LOVE their margaritas, guac and fundito. Unfortunately their tacos are DRY. The pulled beef was super dry specifically last night & Idk what it is but I'm always disappointed with every taco. If you don't put a lot of sauce on them then they are hard to eat. Anyways, I'll keep coming back for the margs and appys but I was really disappointed with certain aspects as well.

My family LOVES Anejo! We've been dining here for years, and the food and service is always excellent. I'm convinced there's not better table side guac out there! Highly recommend for happy hour, date night, or a get together with a big group of friends, it's just the best.

LOUD, LOUD, LOUD. Couldn't hear the person next to me. Food was awesome and so was waitress. She rocked. 1st date here...Do ya want a 2nd? lol...Oh, we were on a 2nd level...maybe 1st was less LOUD!

Service and food was good. A standard Mexican restaurant. We reserved the 5:15 table on a Friday because Open Table only had this time or 8:30 available but when we arrived the restaurant was half full and only one couple on the patio. I'm sure we could have just arrived at 6 or 6:30 and got a walk in no problem.

I was there at Anejo to celebrate my 2 years anniversary with my boyfriend on Wednesday. He had the braised beef happy hoour tacos and I had the chicken tings happy hour tacos 3 each. We requested a virgin pina colada and the beverage that was served to us was not exactly a pina colada but close enough we enjoyed it. We had the tres leches desert it was so good. The table we sat at didn't have great ambience I wish that we were given a better one

Good was really good but the service was really slow. Would've had more drinks but twice our server came to the table, took empty glasses and didn't ask if we wanted more... it wasn't even busy! Would also say that charging $2 for more chips when you still have guacamole left seems like a rip off.

Completely yummy food!! Table side guacamole is a must! Some parts of the restaurant space were dark and louder, others open and bright. When I come again, I plan to sit outside or at the bar area. Try the hot sauces!

Got a table right across from the bar which is great for watching all the comings and goings. Margaritas were excellent (perhaps could be a bit bigger for the price) and food was great. Must get the guacamole made table-side with chips. Dude who was our server was great and very attentive to our needs and got ours orders in quick. All-in-all, a great Friday night experience.

Carlos on the bar is an amazing educator on all things Tequilas , the food was amazing as always never ever a bad meal , we went on recommendation from Carlos. The mussels were absolutely divine as was the salsa crude . We always sit at the bar great place to learn about different Tequila. Carlos service is attentive and always with a smile. Highly recommend sitting at the bar for the education. Has Blood orange margaritas they were very tasty

We had supper for my son's birthday. He is vegan, and said the vegan option was very good. We shared the table side guacamole, and it was delicious. The two non vegans shared the shrimp, and that was also very good. My wife had the 3 fish tacos, and I had the 3 chicken tacos, and we traded 1 each. The fish tacos were definitely the winner. The chicken taco was under seasoned and needed a little added spice and flavour. All in all , a decent meal, and we will return. Fish tacos for me next time!

The food was amazing... though the chicken tinga was a little dry. It's a cool spot. A bit loud, but it was also busy. Would definitely recommend... especially for gluten free.

Love the happy hour! My favourite margarita is the chilli coconut one. Awesome tacos and such a fun, lively place. Server was attentive. Anejo is always a solid choice to celebrate any event.

Food and service were great. But on a 30 degree day when you wanted some relief sitting inside and the restaurant was 40 degrees inside because the air conditioning they have doesn't work great is not okay. Tables were leaving because of the heat, honestly not sure why we sat there profusely sweating while eating. I honestly felt horrible for our server who we asked about the heat and he claimed it was always like that inside while it's been hot. When I claimed that was an inhumane working condition he agreed, I could only imagine how hot the conditions would be in the kitchen. I'm honestly hoping more people write in saying the same thing in hopes the owners see and do something about the inhumane working conditions. Restaurants should not be 40 plus degrees inside for the sake of your employees. I would actually deter people from coming to eat here due to the heat. Shocked the employees come in and work in those conditions when owners clearly don't care about their employees. Do better and this could be an amazing restaurant. So sorry for all the employees

Everything was great except there was no A/C which was surprising. So I wouldnmt go back if if was as hot as that evening. There is a patio but there were no shady spots when we arrived so it would have been even hotter outside.
