A pretty good café, first time visiting, I found it rather neat and nice, especially it's coffee and food items, along with a relatively great atmosphere too.
It is not a surprise that it is a pretty good café, so I would encourage other people to come here to have a drink and socialize anyways.

recently went to angels tonight, I’m a regular here and usually service has been really good up until tonight.
We came in an hour before closing which staff made very clear! Staff went out of their way to shout and let us know “WE ARE CLOSING IN 10 MINUTES” at quarter to 6.
I understand leaving in a timely matter out of respect for staff however being rushed was not appreciated.
Also regular closing hours are 7pm however we were kicked out at 6pm.

Really cute coffee shop we were wanting to try with our friends as we are coffee connoisseurs. I was saddened to hear the barista bashing teachers over the most recent strike as my spouse it a hard working teacher. Regardless of where you stand politically, voicing it loudly for customer to hear seems wildly inappropriate.
Great place by the park. Also great for moms. Their bathroom was clean and one of them even has a changing table!

Ordered the house coffee and avocado smash toast. Coffee was okay, but was only brought out sugar at the end of my meal so just didn’t drink it. I asked for eggs on the side of my toast since I don’t eat eggs but it still came on top. Came with two pieces of sourdough that was more like white bread, one piece had nothing but butter and eggs on it and the other piece had butter, balsamic drizzle and merely half of a mashed up avocado with some cherry tomatoes.
I genuinely don’t think I’ve had a worse meal in Calgary:( love the patio and the server was great, definitely should’ve had someone helping her as she seemed to be working most of the tables ? She didn’t even have time to really check on people, would’ve loved to tip but was already so sad I had to pay for my extremely mediocre meal
Also sorta sad it’s 2025 and they don’t have anything vegan
