Apprentice Cafe: a little taste of Italy in Ramsay. They serve some amazing sandwiches!! The owner, a former cook in Italy, makes everything from scratch, including the fluffy focaccia 🤤, desserts, and even the ice cream. This dedication to homemade quality really shines through. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Great spot with modern decor and a relaxed vibe. The cappuccino was excellent, and the pastries looked amazing. Prices are a little high, but the quality makes up for it.

11/10 place. The two behind the counter are always cheerful and the food they crank out is absolutely delicious. My husband and I have been coming for a few months now pretty regularly and we’re always happy. Cute local spot. One of my favorites in the city. Also, the pistachio ice cream is to die for 😭

What an adorable hidden gem! This little cafe is perfect. I got an iced matcha with their house made honey lavender syrup and it was amazing, their pumpkin loaf was moist and flavourful but the ultimate star of the show was the pulled pork breakfast sandwich! Everything about the experience from the staff, to the perfect outdoor fall day was exceptional. I would highly recommend!
There is lots of parking but one thing to consider is there is very limited seating.

The sandwiches here are AMAZING!!
I will gladly drive across the city to get one. Delicious gluten-free bun option and the vegetarian ones are so good.

The best gluten free breakfast sandwich I've had! Gluten Free focaccia was sooo good!! And a matcha latte done very well without the added sweeteners. Will definitely be back!

Was looking for a good breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed!
Small cozy cafe with a couple chairs inside It was busy at 11am on a Sunday morning but service was reasonably quick.
My partner and I got the chorizo, pulled pork and roasted chicken to share and they were all amazing with the pulled pork being the favorite. The foccaccia bread had a lovely crispness to it. One sandwich alone is definitely enough to keep you satisfied.
Their custom lattes were also great. Will definitely be back!

What a secret gem of Calgary! We’ve been looking for a cute cafe that has the best breakfast sandwiches - and this is the spot. We tried 3 and they were all equally mouth watering (bacon, sirloin, pastromi) and I got a cinnamon white chocolate cookie that I’m still thinking about. Can’t wait to come back!

Had the focaccia sun-dried tomato sandwich with a flat white; fresh, flavorful, and just the right pick-me-up. ❤️

If you don't read the rest of this review, please take away that this place is a local gem and absolutely worth the stop, whether you're in town visiting or a local.
I had a day to spend in Calgary and was told Inglewood would be the place to find a good cafe. I'm glad I ended up at Apprentice, instead. The owner is a kind, humble, and knowledgeable man who is proud to share his story and what the cafe and the community means to him. While it does not have a large footprint inside for large groups, there is seating inside and outside and the cafe is located right next to a park with benches.
I had the pastrami breakfast sandwich and the homemade focaccia was the perfect bread for the sandwich. While I sat and had my sandwich, I chatted with the owner who told me that everything is homemade, down to the ice cream being churned in-house.
I hope to come back and visit again soon!
