Aroma Dim Sum is a great spot for dim sum. The food was very good—fresh, flavorful, and well prepared—and the service was equally impressive. Staff were attentive and efficient, which made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d be happy to return to.

I usually take out from here and maybe more than 20-30 times I did. And it's always hot, yummy and fresh! Never disappointed. Thanks for keeping the quality!

Amazing food and excellent service! Every dish tasted great, and the quality exceeded our expectations. The staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful—they assisted us in pre-ordering a fantastic menu for our Christmas evening celebration. Our family had a wonderful time and were extremely satisfied. Thank you all, and Happy New Year!

The best Peking duck my family and I have ever had. Super juicy. Hand-made dim sum fresh every day. So good. Service was pleasant and instant. Atmosphere was not loud or tight unlike other Chinese restaurants which we really appreciated.

Dim Sum at Aroma – A Masterclass in How Not to Do Service

We went for dim sum at Aroma and honestly… it was some of the worst service I’ve ever encountered. We tried to flag down a waitress and she kept walking away so blatantly that the tables around us were laughing at how bad it was. When your neighbouring diners are entertained by the neglect, you know it’s not good.

No one ever came to quality-check anything in an HOUR, which might’ve been for the best because the food was just as disappointing. The BBQ pork roll tasted like unseasoned pork paste — not even a hint of the sweet, salty Chinese BBQ flavour it should have. Everything was bland, flat, and completely lacking depth. Even the sauces were congealed, which pretty much summed up the experience.

The atmosphere didn’t help either. It felt like a truck-stop diner — the kind you get in and out of quickly, not a place to enjoy dim sum. Underwhelming textures, underwhelming flavours, and truly unbelievable service.

We left hungry for flavour and starving for service. Not rushing back.

207. PanFried Shanghai Pork Dumpling is terrible, disgusting and I have to throw them away. Something wrong with the meat, very unpleasant taste.

104. Shrimp & Chives Dumpling is not good either.

Excellent dim sum options. More so if a seafood lover. I am not.

Had the chow mein - bean sprouts and shredded pork on special with ordering 3 dim sum dishes.

The pan fried dumplings are the best ive ever had. Hands down. Fresh as can be. Also had thai spring rolls which are their take on them as traditionally in rice paper.

Food needed only a dash of hot sauce but overall excellent.

Highly recommend!

Food portions are big. We had 6 people in our party but we were seated at a big table for 10+ people. That makes it hard to chat with friends across the table. We saw that they only have 2-3 tables for 4-6 people.

We had lunch at Aroma Chinese Restaurant today and was disappointed by a dishonest experience at the cashier. Our total bill was $36.91; however, the cashier, added a 15% gratuity to the amount without notifying us. The payment terminal displayed $42.45. When questioned, she denied making the change and claimed we had entered the tip ourselves, which was untrue. Such behavior reflects poorly on the establishment’s integrity. I advise future customers to carefully review their bills before completing payment.

Follow-up to the owner's response:
Instead of finding out the truth from their employee, the owner accused me of being dishonest. We caught the cashier secretly adding a 15% tip to my bill. When we confronted her, she changed it. I shouldn’t have left any tip at all. I’m not going to argue about this any longer. I’m stating my experience, and others can draw their own conclusions.
