What a hidden gem! Loved the food here :)
We were traveling with family and craving Korean food—this place was amazing !
We had 육개장, 제육볶음, 순두부 and 오징어 덮밥. Everything was good and portions were generous. The owner was really kind too.
We’ll be back next time we’re in Calgary. Thanks!
Excellent service from Tony. Enjoyed the soondubu very much!
Jeyuk was terrible 😫 It tasted too bland and not spicy at all. I would definitely say it is not Korean style.
But LA galbi and naengmyun were good.
My friends and I visited this restaurant for an early supper on a chilly day in Calgary. As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly. It felt like we were walking into a familiar home after a long day. We got the fried shrimp, gamajatang (pork spicy), spicy chicken deopbap, and the galbitang. As the chef prepared the meals, the aroma filled the entire restaurant. Everything about the meals were so delicious, it felt like the perfect meal on this chilly day!
2 of us walked in to an empty restaurant (just us in the whole place), we decided to just share as I wasnt going to eat much at all. The lady speaking in Korean to my friend about how we had to order 2 meals. Totally illegal in Canada!!!!!!!! Ok then instead of getting any of our business at all, we left without ordering and now youre being reported.
Excellent taste . Highly recommend for Korean food

I had high expectations for my recent visit to this restaurant, particularly since I’ve recommended it to many friends over this year. I was excited to share a dish of bibimbap with a friend, but I was disappointed when we were provided with only one set of utensils for the two of us.
In my experience, it's standard practice for restaurants to offer adequate utensils based on the number of guests, regardless of how many dishes are ordered. This was particularly surprising, as I have always enjoyed my meals here with larger orders in the past.
This experience not only disrupted our meal but also felt a bit inconsiderate, given the usual dining etiquette. I believe that small gestures, like ensuring that all guests have their own utensils, can significantly enhance the dining experience.
I hope the restaurant considers revisiting this policy, as it would contribute to better customer satisfaction and maintain the welcoming atmosphere that has made me a loyal patron. I genuinely appreciate the quality of the food and service, and I look forward to future visits with the hope of a more accommodating experience.

This is a cozy Korean restaurant and I love it! I ordered pork bento box, it’s a bit spicy as it is marked on the menu. The rice isn’t the best, a bit dry to me. The plastic box is cheap looking. Other than that, the meat, salad, glass noodle and dumplings are all good. We also ordered the sweet and spicy chicken. It comes with big portion even its half size. The peanut on the source makes this dish special.

Authentic Korean restaurant offering both "street foods" and more robust dine-in options on their menu. We got the 육개장 (yukgaejang), 떡볶이 (tteokbokki), 설렁탕 (seolleongtang) for dinner plus all the yummy complimentary 반찬 (banchans). Especially impressed with the tteokbokki and seolleongtang, they do not shy away from making it SPICY and using real Korean flavors, which is not easy to find! It tasted like home & what I used to eat growing up ? will definitely be back next time we visit Calgary???❤️

I was happy to be able to eat kimchi stew. The side dishes, bean sprouts and radish radish radish, were perfect, and the cabbage kimchi was a bit vague. But the kimchi stew was good? There was plenty of rice, so I was full!

Stone bowl Bibimbap rice is sooo good, the cold noodle is really traditional too, all the food with a really large portion. The egg roll is soft and nice! I like everything here, definitely gonna recommend to my friend!
