We ordered lunch for our team and they truly went above and beyond. Thank you so, so, SO much for the incredible service and food. From ordering to our tummies, everything was top-notch.
They delivered platters for 15 people and everything was clearly labeled, including all sauces. Vegetarian and gluten-free items were kept separate, which was very thoughtful. We even received complimentary dessert, which was delicious.
The delivery driver helped bring everything up to our floor and took the time to explain each package. The food was beautifully plated and tasted absolutely incredible. Our entire team was so happy.
If you don’t eat here, you’re truly missing out.

Delicious and Satisfying! Tried the shawarma here and was genuinely impressed! The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, wrapped in a soft, warm pita with fresh veggies and just the right amount of sauce. Every bite was full of flavor. Great portion size and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend if you’re craving something tasty and filling!

I have never ate here before but decided to try something new on uber eats. I order the trio platter and it was amazing. The meat was tender and flavourful , the rice was cooked perfect, the potatoes were so good. The sweet sauce and garlic sauce were also soooo good!

Tonight marked our first time trying the family platter, and we were genuinely astonished by both the generous portions and the incredible value. The experience even turned a few of our guests into brand-new fans of the restaurant! Huge thanks for the consistently mouthwatering meals and top-notch service. This is by far the BEST shawarma restaurant I’ve ever been to. We come all the way from Airdrie to eat it (take out), because none other compares. I’ve tried so many different ones, Avesta wins, every single time. They are also very generous in the amount of food and sauces. The chicken and beef platter is my very favourite! The staff is also super nice, and the decor is cute and cozy too. 10/10 recommend!!

Came to this spot after multiple people told me how good their shawarma was.
Cleanliness is huge when coming to any food business, my respects for those this evening at avesta that stayed clean while working, this being the tall man working on prepping food and the woman helping him and even as well as the cook himself.
the one lady with the mole on her face just didn’t respect that to where she would touch her face to wipe sweat off her face and then proceed to touch somebodies chicken kabobs they were cooking, also no gloves and handled cash and cash register (insane amount of germs on there)
Service was amazing too, definitely a very hard working team powering out consistent meals and focused.
onto the food, the gentleman kindly asked if i wanted multiple pitas ( no other shop i’ve been to has offered more then the standard 1) i politely declined. requested for grilled onions and i received. Potato’s were bomb 🔥their house green chili sauce was also really nice with vegetables, chicken & rice was nicely moist and chicken had a lot of flavour.
Overall i would give 4.3 stars but i can only give 5, work on sanitary conditions for all employees, i would suggest running all employees through a standardized food safety course that alberta offers.
