Avesta Shawarma (Crowfoot)

As a person who doesn't do hot pepper, the donair was great. A light touch of heat but didn't burn my mouth. I'll be back again. Finally a donair I could enjoy!!!!!

Tonight was our first time trying Avesta, and we have mixed feelings. We ordered a large beef donair, large Falafel wrap and a large fry to split. The donair and Falafel wrap were really good but the fries were beyond disappointing. These fries were $10.45 and there was probably 1 handful of fries in the container. They were soggy and not seasoned very well. I thought for $10.45 we would have more than enough to split but I do feel ripped off. I was stunned when I opened the container. I did call them to ask how they measured their portions but was told they're busy, so they couldn't measure accurately. We probably will give it another try but definitely won't get any sides.

Great flavor, generous portions, and good prices compared to other comparable shawarma places. We used to go to Jerusalem Shawarma in Royal Oak for good shawarmas because none of the ones in Crowfoot were good

I'm glad the older business in this location closed (their portions were extremely low) and this new branch opened.

We tried them twice, will go again, highly recommend.

The owner Moustafa and his staff are extremely kind and welcoming when you come into the restaurant. The food was amazing and you can tell they truly care about how you enjoy your meal! Hands down my favourite Shawarma restaurant in the NW.

Ordered a beef Donair wrap. Honest to God this might be one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The wrap is so neat as stuffed thoughtfully, these guys will for sure be getting my IN PERSON business!!
