Great atmosphere and great service. We stumbled at this wine bar looking for another place, but glad we went inside. Small cozy spot that nice and quiet to end the night with a glass of wine. The server explained the wines by glass to us and gave us a few options. Because we got there late, the kitchen was closed but they had desserts available. We got the chocolate fondant (lava cake) and it was delicious.

This place is really cool. Fantastic wines and accompaniments. The staff are very attentive and make the experience feel very personalized. There's a fair amount of construction on the road out front and so the view should improve with time.

This is the best new French wine bar in Calgary. There is no menu for wine as the staff are very experienced and will serve you something perfectly suited to your taste. The space is small but very comfortable and will expand with their patio in summer. I am very excited to continue visiting Avitus to see the new wine selections.

Girlfriends and I came across this place by chance while waiting for our supper reservation. It was amazing. I don’t normally do reviews, but this place deserves it. Building your own charcuterie board is brilliant. No more settling for things you don’t actually care for. We got exactly what we loved and it was perfect. And that honey truffle spread was delicious. Then to have a wine savvy server pair us with a wine to go with the specific items we selected was a great experience. We all agreed we’d come back to this place!
