this restaurant is soooo goodddd. im from toronto and i came here to try bun mang vit, goi cuon and goi kho bo. i loves all of that. you guys have to try here. highly recommend ( the price is cheap too)

I agree with some of the recent comments. I used to love coming to eat here ever since they converted the old pool hall/cafe into a restaurant. Food was excellent but they recently changed ownership and the place has gone downhill quickly. It's terrible. The food quality is non existent and the service is horrible. We waited for well over an hour to get our food and it had no taste, and this applied for four different dishes.
My recommendation is that whether you used to come here or thinking of coming for the first time; don't. The new ownership ruined this restaurant.

Second time visiting while I am in Calgary The decor of the restaurant is def Viet vibe 👍 and bathroom is clean as well which +1 Dishes were great size. We ordered Banh Canh Cua, Ngheu Hap Thai and Goi Cuon Tom. In the beginning, we were asking the staff that if Banh Canh Cua contained meat at all (we could only eat seafood), but when it came out there was pork on it. As we were kinda disappointed but we were fine as we didnt want to make it challenge for staff. However, staff came out and offered to remake it for us. We appreciated the service and their understanding. Great dinner and would def recommend if you want to try Vietnamese dishes

As a Pho lover, I've been to nearly 40 different establishments over the past couple decades. Ba Mien Quan has the SINGLE BEST version of the entrée that I've had in my entire life. It's all about the broth, of course. But the protein and veggies were just sublimely fresh and great quality making something very special. I'm so glad I just happened to find them, and can't wait to try their other entrées such as the pad Thai. But I'll always be getting an extra order of the Pho (rec the #1). It's absolutely unreal! 🥲🙏

This place used to be great! One of the best authentic Vietnamese cuisine experiences in Calgary! Unfortunately, ownership recently changed and this place has been unkept, unclean, and unmanaged during each of my last two and (and final) visits. I cannot imagine what the kitchen looks like. Please clean this place up or you will continue to lose long time customers!

We went for lunch on a Saturday, there was plenty of parking available. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, our whole group was happy. We will be back.
