I had the satay beef sub and it wasn’t that great. Sauce/marinade for the beef is way too sweet and they are very skimpy on the toppings. At least the bread was fresh and crispy.

I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to speak up.

I stopped in for a sub today, and like others have said, they’re really stingy with their ingredients—especially the veggies. I’m not big on meat, so I specifically asked for extra cilantro and cucumbers. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t follow through. When I politely asked again, they added just a little more cilantro and some peanuts.

Their veggies are sliced extremely thin—almost paper thin—and honestly, it felt like I barely got any. I also noticed only three tiny slices of jalapeño on the entire sub. I don’t need overwhelming spice, but I couldn’t even taste a kick.

Friendly advice: Don’t cut corners on something as basic as veggies, especially when customers ask for more. We love subs and order them all the time from other places—never had an issue like this. Sadly, I won’t be back.

Awesome sub sandwich. I had the Lemongrass sub. Fresh ingredients like cilantro and carrots. The chicken was flavourful and soft chewy bread. Would recommend. Decent price too - $10

We just had two tofu subs to go and unfortunately these go down as the worst Vietnamese subs we've had anywhere. The bread was very dry and had no substance to it, the sub overall was super dry - no sauce or flavouring, we had 2 or 3 pieces of very thin dry tofu and some greasy deep fried breading that was flavorless. We ordered take out and we were already driving, otherwise I would have returned them.

This place has THE BEST Viet subs in all of Calgary. I cannot recommend BAMI enough. Staff is excellent, food is incredible. This is me and my boyfriend’s go-to spot. Everyone go here and show this place some love. 10/10 ?
