I’ve eaten here a few times and the food has always been delicious, so I’ve overlooked the not-so-friendly customer service. Not sure if I’ll be back after my last visit though. The owner took my payment and then without washing, picked up dumplings out of a container in the fridge with his bare hands and carried them to the steamer.
4 stars for the food. Generous portions compared to other Thai places in Calgary and the food is delicious. However, friendly service is lacking. Everytime I am there, I feel like the owner is always grumpy and when he takes my order he gives me a look like I am inconveniencing him. And my order is pretty basic - no modifications to what is on the menu. Would be nice to be served with a smile.
I’m absolutely obsessed with their green curry on coconut rice. I get it on my weekly trips to the farmers market and I think about and look forward to it all week. Such lovely people too. Great other dishes. Pad see-ew also delish.
