Banzai Sushi & Teriyaki House

Delicious sesame rice bowl, poke bowl and sushi! Love this place! Usually we order from skip but decided to dine in, could definatly use some AC in the restaurant but service was fantastic!

Great poke! The miso soup (being delivered) was very small but also very good.

The noodles are raw in soup, which means they're very undercooked and rubbery, chicken with bones and skin and veins, in short, you'll have to chew. And no vegetables, just no at all.

Absolutely love Banzai! I can’t even remember how I discovered this place, but I’m so pleased I did! We regularly order from here when we’re craving a fresh and filling meal! Can’t get enough of their poke bowls where you can customize them completely! Highly recommend, and you won’t be disappointed. The staff is always so lovely too. Thank you!

We also regularly order Salmon Nigiri, shrimp tempura, banzai roll and avocado roll. All fantastic! Will need to try the mega bowl after reading all the positive reviews.

One note though - we often come mid afternoon and I really wish there was something to be done of the parents that fill up their small parking lot of 6 spaces to wait and pick up their kids from the school across the street. It’s so frustrating! And they leave their car or just sit. :( we’ve had to park far down the road more than once.

Always amazing Japanese food for when you’re on the run.

The super rice bowl is incredible. Great quality meat, flavourful sauce, big portion. I challenge anyone to find a better meal for $13.65 in the city -- can't be done.

Used to love this place, latest orders are disappointing. Prices are high for incredibly small portions

I would recommend the sesame beef bowl. The only thing lately I’ve noticed with this location is they are extremely light on the sauce and I feel like it makes the dish extremely plain when there’s barely any sesame sauce.

I was disappointed being served cold teriyaki noodles and meat and mall quality sushi rolls .

Banzai has great value. The portions are large and the food is always prepared carefully.

Ordered takeout so I can’t comment on the atmosphere but the space is kind of cramped in a strip mall off of 16th ave. The food was awesome. We got a party platter B from and served it with some raw tuna we caught in Costa Rica. The platter was amazing, all of the fish was fresh and we got a bunch of extra side sauces. The ginger sauce and the sesame sauce are great and only $0.50 extra for each one

Best poke bowls in Calgary! Their fish is so fresh and everything is prepared with care. The portions are perfect, and the ingredients are high quality. Their menu is also reasonably priced. Their poke bowls are the best tasting in the city. I return time and time again to have their poke bowls. The staff are also very friendly. If you’re looking for high quality and affordable sushi, come to banzai.

Ordered off Uber Eats and was incredibly happy! Roommate and I decided to try this for lunch and we were not disappointed. We had to customize one of the appetizers (we asked if it would be possible, but understood if it couldn't be done) and to our delight, everything came as we hoped. Very fresh tasting. Quality ingredients. Fair prices. Beautifully seasoned. We can't wait to dine in at another time! Thank you Banzai!!
