Seriously incredible experience! The server was great and the food was delectable! I love duck so I obviously went for the Duck Pie with Sour Cherry Ju. Sheesh! It was so flavorful! I paired it with the Rundle G&T which was made with Saskatoon berry đ«. Yummy. Lastly I had a french dessert with coconut cream, cardamom englaise and pineapple. Everything I had was exquisite and really thought out.

Terrible experience! Went there for the first time through a pre-paid gratuity included mystery Taste the City tour package. The restaurant tables were half empty, and they sat us at the bar by the service area when even the rest of the bar seating area was available. Even the kitchen staff just looked at us as we sat down and yelled at the hostess that sat us, âAre they even drinking?â He then told the other kitchen staff âto get their food fast.â We asked if we could get one of the empty tables and order a drink and they had to run it by their manager. When the manager came out and sat us at a table, the food came too and then asked us if we would like to order a drink; no point now after the food arrived and was felt rushed A diced tomato with pesto sauce that wasnât even on their menu. We were seated, moved, ate and left in under 10 minutes for what was supposed to be a 30-40 minute seating experience for approximately $45 per tasting location. I felt unwelcome, and disappointed. They shouldnât participate in this program if they donât want those patrons. Iâll be telling this story for some time Iâm sure.

Very tasty food and attentive servers. We didnât feel rushed at all. The servers werenât constantly checking on us and gave us space but at the same time they were very attuned to costumers.

Just ok. Has so much potential! The milk buns were delicious, but unfortunately, they were served with one small, hard square of butter. The Souffle was cooked beautifully on the bland side. The mushrooms were the highlighter of the food we had. Meaty & full of flavour! The Squid was also good. Tasty seasoning. We asked if they had Tabasco sauce for the Oysters and were told no. Later, we could see the Tabasco bottle on the shelf beside the Worcester sauce. The bartender couldn't make a Cosmopolitan cocktail. She said they didn't have cranberry juice.

We did indeed visit your restaurant, we didn't call. We were told 45 minute wait originally, then your host told us 30 as he put in our name and took our number. That was fine as we were in the area to check out the calgary lights exhibits going on around 3 blocks nearby.
This was also several hours prior to closing so I have a hard time believing nothing opened in that time frame. When we walked past and several open tables, it was at least 45 minutes prior to your closing time for the night.
So over an hour and a half without so much as a text to apologize and explain that a table wouldn't be possible. Seems reasonable that your establishment could at least have done this, considering we hung around the area still expecting we would get a call back to come in for a drink and maybe food.
The funniest part of this was that we ended up going to Missy's instead, and who is seated next to us but your host who took down our info. Coming in after work, we heard him exclaim to his friends how your establishment was so swamped, you were taking waitlist and weren't calling.
The absurdity of this situation is the only reason I'm writing this. I found it hilarious, but why you possibly take waitlist with the expectation you wouldn't actually have a table or even call back? Tell us you are too busy. That's fine. Don't take our info knowing we won't have a table so we waste our time waiting around the same area.
Do better. I still want to try your spot though.

This Modern French restaurant brings a classic approach to the plates they serve. Very central to calgary off of central memorial park, the busy atmosphere makes the experience fun and exciting. Excellent chefs and professional fast paced service with a charm in this establishment make this a destination you canât miss!

At the time of writing, this place is still a very underrated gem in the Beltine area. The food is all very fresh and prepared in full view of the clientele. For me the standout dishes were the pork chop and the squid which were both unique and cooked perfectly, but everything was really excellent and the care taken to prepare was notable. Was very impressed the first round and have been back several times since. Standard cocktails on the menu were all great, and the bartender was able to make custom requests that were all quite tasty. Go now - this place will blow up!
