The new location is very nice, quiet noisy during lunch time but it is the norm at Barcelona. The new address was not on the reservation app when I booked - still came up as 501 8th ave.
A friend and I visited Calgary for a weekend and randomly stumbled across Barcelona Tavern. We ordered the truffle pasta with meatballs (8/10) and the shrimp and steak paella (7.5/10). The steak was 10/10 - amazingly seasoned and cooked. The rice was a bit mushy but did taste good. The shrimp could have been better seasoned.

I really enjoyed the food at Barcelona Tavern! Everything was delicious, the staff were super friendly, and my order came out very quickly. Great service and great atmosphere — I’ll definitely come back!
