As always, amazing chicken. Every chicken place in the city serves them fried. This place is one of the very few ones that serve chicken grilled which matters much for people on strict diets.

Best Alternative to Nando's but better because it is HALAL !! GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

What a great find! This beats Nandos and Swiss Chalet. Chicken is flame grilled and delicious, fries are excellent, and the various peri sauces are terrific. The owner and staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. This has become our new favorite place in Calgary for a great meal, with leftovers to take home.

I was so excited to visit Barcelos after hearing so many good things about the Sage Hill location! The food was amazing - I love the super peri sauce! Everything was cooked perfectly and the chicken was delicious. Highly recommend stopping by! The owners are also lovely :)

Horrible experience. Chicken smells awful. Food portions were too small. The whole food was not at all good. Will never come to this place. We left almost all our food without eating. Staff was rude as well.

This is not my first time in this place, I order from them so often, but this time i decided to bring my family in and i ordered hummus and the portion was served to us was unbelievably small. They serve it in those peri peri sauce containers(may be 2 of those containers) for 9.99$ with one piece of pita. Honestly, the former owners were so generous and welcoming as well.
Too bad!! That will be my last tome ordering from here.
