Phoned the previous day to book for a table of 11 when we arrived 18.45 pm it wasn't busy but was totally ignored by the staff even though we stood by the sign please wait here to be seated. Finally a miserable lady turned up and had no welcome and no knowledge of a reservation for our party .We actually show our phone record to prove we phoned for a reservation and finally she admitted defeat but only had a table of 8 available so 3 of our guests had to sit separately.
She remained miserable during our ordering and we kindly stated we wanted to split the bill and was told 'aunty' will sought it out later .
Food was adequate but overpriced the Bolalo was basically ALL bones and very salty therefore rubbish.
No welcoming smile no returning to see if the food was OK and no returning to top up water .
End of the night the same miserable server eventually turned up with the ONE inclusive bill as she obviously couldn't be bothered to split the bill down.So one of our party paid the whole which came to almost $300 and we just paid it back to them .
So to sum up miserable service adequate food and expensive ! We won't be going back and I don't recommend this establishment to anyone !
I have a lot of Filipino friends who can cook a lot better and have a more pleasurable experience at home !

We had a wonderful dining experience at Barrio Fiesrta. After our haircut appointment, we got hungry so I asked my nephew to google for a nearby Filipino Restaurant. He found Barrio Fiesta at NE. It was our first time to dine in this place and we were amazed by the restaurant’s great ambiance and very nice interior design/layout. The tables and chairs are beautifully set up and
not crowded. The staff, Ms. Joy, was exceptionally awesome, very nice and accommodating. She really made our first time dining experience an amazing one. We ordered the bestseller Crispy Pata and Pancit Bihon/Canton which was a very good combination. Food was delicious and Joy even gave us a complimentary appetizer. This place is high recommended and we will surely come back to Barrio Fiesta. Ms. Joy…you rock!!!

I first tried your pancit back in 2020, and I really loved it the mix of sweet and salty was so addicting. But these past few months I’ve been ordering, it doesn’t taste the same anymore.
Also, your sisig I’m not sure if it’s sisig or adobo. It’s really salty. The bulalo tastes like the one from Sky Pares. You should try it yourselves to see what I mean. It’s just salty now, not like before when the broth was tasty and a bit oily.If you’re going to sell food, please make sure it tastes good. It’s disappointing, especially because your food is expensive.

I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to bring up a small concern from our visit on October 4, 2025.
There were four of us dining, and I paid $100 in cash. I was expecting around $15 in change, but it was never returned. Our server, Myla, seemed to pocket the cash, and we waited for a while thinking she might come back with the change, but she didn’t.
We’re not trying to make a big deal out of it, and it's not really about the money. We just thought it was worth mentioning in case the payment wasn’t handled properly.

Ordered bulalo for pickup since my mother-in-law was craving for a nice hearty soup. As expected, the soup was good and comforting but the disappointing part was the meat portion. What we got was maybe a 70-30 bone to meat ratio as seen on the picture. For $40, it’s not a good value for money in my opinion.

We had a terrible experience on Saturday, September 20th, around 12:30 PM. The door was closed when we arrived, even though Google says they open around 12 noon. After knocking, someone unlocked the door without a greeting. As the first customers, we expected a warmer welcome. Instead, the server just put menus on our table silently. She was also on a loud phone call while taking our orders and serving our food. The food was okay, and the ambiance was good, but that server earned a 1-star rating. Hopefully, staff training will improve. Thanks!

The ambiance was pleasant, but the customer service was lacking. We arrived after noon, and the door was still locked. The waitress unlocked the door without offering a welcome. Upon entering, she simply placed the menus on the table and left, without inquiring about our party size or seating preferences. The food was acceptable, though the portions seemed a bit expensive. As visitors from Ontario, we would not choose to return. Our previous experience in September of last year was positive, and this was our second visit. We had even included this restaurant in our itinerary, but we will not be returning. Happened September 20, 2025 ~12:30pm

For authentic Filipino food, this is the best spot in Calgary! The servings are generous, the service was excellent, and the experience overall was truly satisfying. Highly recommended!
