ordered large beef shawarma, a tupperware of beef was pulled from fridge and microwaved. was not happy about it, ate 3/4 of it but then couldn't eat the last 1/4 because it was so dry. i really hate writing low star reviews but owner and other potential customers need to ask to have the beef freshly cut. I believe the same was done for my coworker who ordered a regular chicken shawarma. I would recommend Shawarma Palace anyday....

Beirut Bakery & Restaurant is a fantastic spot in Shaganappi Plaza! The place is spotless, and the service is outstanding. The staff is always friendly, polite, and welcoming—they even remember my family whenever we visit, which makes the experience feel extra special.
As soon as you walk in, they offer samples, and everything is freshly made from scratch. You can find a great selection of products to prepare meals at home, along with delicious sweets. Whether you choose to sit and enjoy your food or take it to go, the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Another plus is the convenient parking—it's free if you park right in front of the bakery, but be mindful that other spots in the plaza may require payment. If you're using public transportation, it's just a block away from Westbrook Station, and there’s a bus stop right in front of the bakery (though I’m not sure of the route number).
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for authentic, high-quality food and exceptional service!

I recently visited Beirut Bakery and Restaurant, and I have to say, it was firee. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole atmosphere feel genuine and honest. The food was top-notch, with flavors that really stand out. It’s truly a great place to enjoy quality Lebanese food. I got a 3x regular meat pies - 1 of which was loaded with veggies, a chicken pocket, a zatar, cheese pie and spicy double-meat meet pie - also loaded with veggies. Highly recommend checking it out! All this food came out to ~$56 and I was very satisfied with the quantity.
Delicious Lebanese food! My only regret is that I have not come here sooner! I will be back. Friendly staff. Generous servings. I have a new favourite Lebanese restaurant.
