Saturday night went out for dinner with good friends, telltale sign should of been establishment was not busy, as the restaurant next door was packed and a lineup waiting to get in. Ordered Focaccia bread, stale, was not eaten, charged 20 bucks for it, two plates, then i proceeded to order Special which was Chicken Gnocchi with pesto cream sauce, no pesto in it, gooey alfredo sauce instead, chicken overcooked, drinks were meh1 . Desserts were on menu, none available, only Tiramisu, average, not wonderful. Then when bill came overcharged 85.00 , said they can only fixed mistake next day??? I will never return, and i do not recommend!!

We enjoyed dinner here recently and came away very satisfied. The people are lovely, friendly and welcoming. We shared a green salad followed by pollo supreme and gnocchi gargonzola with prawns, both delicious and all washed down with a lovely Barolo. Dessert was melt in your mouth goodness. We would definitely return.

Wonderful boutique Italian restaurant! Felt like we were in Italy with warm reception upon arrival. Delicious fresh food. Started with homemade focaccia bread. Caprese salad was very tasty with a wonderful sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly! Salmon was absolutely delicious! Procesco was light and flavorful.

My wife and I went out for a date night. We had heard good things about this restaurant. We were impressed. The food was great. We both shared bruschetta and had our own pasta dishes. However, the star of the night was the tiramisu … just delicious.

Last night was our second visit to Grande Amore and both times the food was outstanding and the service excellent. The decor is beautiful and the owner Dino is a charm. This is out new "go to" Italian restaurant in Calgary. Mark

Excellent sauces. Had a caprese salad, rigatoni and sausage and a tiramisu. Service was freindly and sparkly. I highly recommend it.
