Got my usual Tom’s pizza and wow !!! The amount of onions on my pizza was absurd. To be clear , I love onions but this was ridiculous. There was seriously 4X the amount of onions as green peppers or any other topping . I’m not sure if they had a new pizza chef in that night ( 12/20/24) but it was the first Bella Roma pizza I’ve ever ordered that left me disappointed. Great restaurant but just a bad pizza night ….

So happy we went. It's an old school place with neighbourhood vibe. Our server told us it's like the "town of Lakeview" meets there. Meatballs were spectacular, like eating them at Nona's house. My mussels were great (Friday special, fantastic price!!). My partner loved her old school French onion soup, I finished it and concur. If you want the real deal, neighbourhood comfort, Italian restaurant pub experience... Just go! You'll be glad you did

I had been hesitant to try Bella Roma. I am celiac and I wasn't sure they would even do Gluten free properly. I met and talked to Jennifer, server extraordinaire, at my first visit and she patiently described the gf protocol they used. So impressed with how seriously they take this food allergy. Every meal I have had since then has been delicious, plentiful but most importantly gluten free. Great place and so many gf options.

Rowena was so amazing, we will be coming back! Friendly, helpful, super quick service (needed with two children). Chicken fingers come with a huge amount of fries. Spicy pizza has a great spice. Pizza is a deep dish style so plenty of cheese.

As someone who has celiac and needs to eat gluten free I can say that this restaurant is amazing! Lots of options (gluten free and others). On my specific visit, I had a gluten free pizza and it's definitely my new go to! I'm looking forward to going back and trying everything on the menu.

The staff are very attentive and courteous. The lasagna and pizzas are delicious, the daily specials are also good.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant side is kid friendly and the menu for kids is also reasonable.

Bella Roma has been a staple for my grandparents who live nearby for as long as it is has been open. We really appreciate the excellent service and patience they provide to their elderly patrons. The wait staff are incredible. There are several menu items that we order repeatedly and are never disappointed with. Baked lasagna, fish and chips, and any of their pizzas. If you're looking for a tasty, no frills, dinner you should definitely check it out.
