TLDR: Best of Kin continues to be very okay and we are very unlikely to return.
We wanted to badly for them to be figure it out it, however, after multiple visits, it’s clear that it just won’t make the grade for us.
Though the menu seemingly has good selection, the price you pay does not meet our expectations for what is provided. The pizza, given the price, is disappointingly small. Our daughter’s grilled cheese has come burnt every time. The service is wildly inconsistent.
There is a great atmosphere, and the beer is decent. But given the inconsistency in food, portions, and service given the price of each bill, it is simply not for us anymore.

Brought my dad here while he was in town to try some excellent local food and was not disappointed! Fish and chips were fantastic and the poutine was a particular highlight. Service was so friendly and welcoming too, our server made us feel right at home. Love this place!

The staff refused customer with a dog because she said they were understaffed. The establishment had 3 tables - 2 inside and 1 on the patio. It was warm outside 18 degrees. And there was no reason to turn customers away and found her to be almost confrontational about the situation. We would have stayed longer and spent more money but left for a friendlier all inclusive establishment. As an owner of the pub you should know that other customers did not feel welcome at you establishment.

Really enjoy this brewery, kinda weird that it took so long for me to hear about it. The celebration sour is awesome. I also like that they do guest taps. Patio accomdates dogs, which is always a plus. The food is really good.

Will be back. Creating a cool, local, sophisticated but casual spot is a hard feat. They nailed it. Dog friendly patio is also a plus. Tables are bare, unfinished wood. Adds to the charm but some people may not like it. Didn't bother me. The fish on crackers meal I ordered could be improved, but the dumplings the table next to me ordered smelt great, and the beer was good, too.

Had a great evening here with friends. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The live music by Brett Cassidy was the perfect addition to the evening, really setting the mood. Highly recommend!

I will never understand why we have gone to putting fries in a separate vessel for a meal. What happened to fires on the plate you're eating from? Get rid of the additional container, no need to wash an additional container, no need to replace an additional container when the others break, take that $$ and give me some fires with my meal!!! Not the 8 sticks of potato and a sandwich for $23!!! Get back to serving food/meals at a restaurant and not a burger snack where I then have to go home and cook more food to fill up. I have stopped going out for a meal at a restaurant because it costs a small fortune for next to half the serving we had 8-10yrs ago. Other than the lack of food with my meal, service was good, friendly, and the atmosphere was decent. need to work on serving sizes/$$$ spent, then I might buy more beer cause these fires are making me thirsty.

The place is very beautiful, the attention is also beautiful. The food was not to our liking, the pizza was a little burnt, the sandwiches the bread did not feel very fresh :/ and I found that it had little brisket. The beer is good and the cider is also very tasty. The food left us dissatisfied

Came in for a quick beer, then saw the great menu. We sat at the bar and also our bartender Tessa was fantastic. Had the steak tartare, amazing! Can’t wait to come back.
