Big Fish & Open Range - Marda Loop

There's nothing worse than inconsistency at restaurants. We ordered the same thing we had a few months ago and loved and this time it was actually disgusting. Will not be going back.

Went for Valentine's, had oysters which were okay, but other places have a better selection of sauces, horseradish etc. My partner had mussels which she enjoyed, I had pistachio crusted char with risotto and veggies. Was okay, nothing memorable except for the too large of portion of broccoli. Service was good, nice place for anyone to go, whether on a date or with kids. Would probably try another place instead of going there again though.

One of my partners and my favourite place to visit. Has good vibes, really great food. I love the butter chicken and prawn dish. The seafood chowder is also so good on a chilly night. Has a small underground parkade which helps with parking as long as it’s not full, but we have never had a problem.

One of my favourite restaurants! Great Food, Nice Atmosphere, Pleasant Server. The three course lunch special is a wonderful deal. Service was a bit slow as there was only one server on duty. Had more customers turned up that day it would have been a problem.

This will become a new favorite! We all loved everything! Lovely ambience. Excellent service & delicious food. I highly recommend!

Service was great. We happened to be there on Monday for the oyster and champagne deal which was good value. Our lunch was delicious. It's fadt becoming one of my”goto” spots

As a vegan I love this place! The atmosphere is amazing, the vegan option is delicious and the service was so kind and professional. The drinks were great too. We went there with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed it.

Excellent supper at Big Fish & Open Range yesterday. We started with the saffron scallops as the appetizer. My wife had the 6 oz. filet, with mushroom risotto. I had the Arctic Char with ginger rice. Very good. Excellent service.

Short ribs were sub-par, flavored with watered down barbecue sauce. Not very tender. Risotto was under cooked and lacked flavor. Service was very good.

First time at Big Fish and Open Range. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. The service was good. I ordered the crab club. I felt like the sandwich was lacking on the crab, and very heavy on the bread. Next time I’ll order something else.

Lovely young lady at the front desk who showed us to our table!!! Lovely young lady who served us!!! The food was awesome!!, and it was perfect for 2 of us. We do really appreciate the "date night deal"!! We will definately see you again! Denise

Probably the best restaurant ive ever been too. The food is sublime and the service was unbeatable. David was great! Very pricey but well worth it.

The food was pretty good. My issue was as soon as our food came it was like they didn’t care that we were there. We had a party of 7. There were a few other tables but not super busy. Once the food was done empty plates and glasses sat in front of us for way too long. We probably would have had at least 2 more drinks each had they come around. The server was really nice just didn’t come round much. The last thing was we had auto gratuity add on a party of 7. The standard is tables of 8 and above. Did not tell us until the bill came. Then we got taxed on the auto gratuity.
