My husband and I visited from Vancouver. We loved the food, it was fresh, delicious and affordable. Our waitress, Dee, was friendly, attentive, and courteous. We will definitely be back when we visit Calgary in the near future. In the meantime, we will spread the word! :)

My hubby has been wanting to try this place for over a year, and we finally had the chance to try it out. We went in really expecting to love it, and were even planning future trips there in our heads.
We unfortunately left very disappointed. I will give credit where credit is due - both the host and the server were absolutely lovely. No problems there.
We did have to wait far too long for our drinks to arrive, and when they finally did, his beer was completely flat.
When the food arrived, it was a huge disappointment. My husband said the bun on his brisket sandwich was completely wet and soggy and the brisket was flavorless, not really edible. He only had a couple bites and left it. The corn was undercooked and hard. He said the fries weren't great either. I had gotten the deep fried pickles. Some were okay, but half of them were chewy and not good.
Thankfully the server comped us for the beer and food that was mostly untouched, but we were just so disappointed overall with a place we were ready to love and become repeat guests at. After our visit, we unfortunately won't be returning and won't be recommending to anyone.
Thank you though to the lovely host and server.

Delicious meat, really loved the flavor, juiciness and softness, really enjoyed the 2-3 platter which let us try most of all the meats, recommended!

Visited for the first time, and after a fantastic meal, won't be the last!

Doesn't look like much when you pull up but the nice surprise when you walk in, is a clean nicely decorated rustic smokehouse vibe with plenty of seating and an outdoor patio at the side of the building.

We were greeted firstly by the great food aromas and were seated quickly by the host. The waitress was fun and friendly and made her recommendations for us first timers.

After a short wait time, she brought out our orders. I had the Smoked Brisket Poutine and my partner ordered the Pulled Brisket Sandwich with a side of their baked beans and coleslaw. It all smelled heavenly and the portions were generous.

Well, I can't say enough good about the food!
The brisket was tender melt in your mouth taste perfection! I tasted the beans and I just wanted to dive in. Quite possibly the best beans I've ever eaten with a perfect balance of spices, molasses and their signature BBQ sauce!

For the food, atmosphere and staff, I highly recommend you visit to get your meat sweats on. And yeah, stretch-y pants.

John Cattuci ( You Gotta Eat Here) did a segment highlighting this location. So yeah,..YOU GOTTA EAT HERE!!

Waited 50mins for a sandwich! it wasn't even busy, half of the tables were empty. Was told 15-20mins wait, end up waited 50mins, and I wasn't the only one waited that long, the delivery guy also waited about the same amount of time.
Food was okay, nothing to write home about.

Picked up take out order yesterday. St. Louis Ribs and Blackened Catfish.
Excellent as always!

Food was ok but what drives me crazy is the restaurant that adds the 18% tip on your bill, kind of forcing you to pay, and the worse, the credit card machine ask you again for tip. If you don’t notice, you will pay twice!
They should be ashamed.

Love love love this place!! Delicious food, reasonable prices and great service. What’s not to love. Will be back soon.

Would give the atmosphere a 5 plus if the cranky looking older lady wasn’t wandering around micromanaging what appears to be her employees. ( lady they’re doing great it’s not helpful to hover over they’re shoulders while they are working. .. the environment feels like the whole restaurant should walk on egg shells whilst she is present. However when she’s not in the restaurant the atmosphere is relaxed and positive!! Lady should take a rest for a bit.

Absolutely fantastic! Stopped in on a random visit and was not disappointed. Planned on doing take out until they told me I could have my dog on the patio. Stayed for the food and a beer and met some good folks during the stay. Will definitely be back again.

The beef brisket was tender but lacked flavor. The chicken was dry and also lacked flavor. The cheese poutine was ordinary, Coscto's is better. Good service.
