Worst meal I have ever had. $30 bucks for 1/2 rack of back ribs, super fatty, corn bread was dry, no utensils or napkins. The original sauce was horrible. The only thing that was ok was the corn on the cob. I wish I had not tipped. This was a Calgary location. I have learned my lesson, first and last time. What a huge disappointment, I asked a couple of locals that recommend this place. Joke is definitely on me.

Very OK meal. Host was nice but our server had zero personality, seemed checked out. Ribs were average, they provided 3 sauces and I tried all 3 and they were very basic, not very flavourful sauces. Hush puppies were good, but corn bread was so dry. I liked the spicy slaw, but it had the spice level of black pepper. Overall, an OK meal at an OK price. Surprised this place was on a TV show, definitely not memorable in any way.

I went to Calgary for a weekend and this place was close to my hotel. First place I went to and turned out to be the only place I went to. Words cannot describe how amazing their food is. The Gutbuster was amazing. Their coleslaw was devine. Their gravy? I dare say the best I ever tried. The chili was great. Service was amazing and quick and everyone was very nice. I even got food to take back to Toronto with me because I couldn't get enough.This is, in my opinion, one of the best places in Canada. The only sad thing is not having it here in Toronto

We came here last month with 5 of us for a get together. It was our first time there and we absolutely loved it. We wanted to try a new restaurant and we were not disappointed! The interior was clean and lively, if not a bit crowded, but we were there on a busy evening, so that's to be expected. We made a reservation ahead of time and we were seated with no problems!Our server was amazing, she made sure to check on us regularly and she was extremely helpful.The food was also very delicious. It came out quickly and it was hot and fresh. The flavors were amazing and the prices were more than reasonable for BBQ. They also have a nice selection of cocktails and beer on tap, if alcohol is your thing, and these are very reasonably priced as well.The parking for this location is a bit tight, as the area is kind of small and shares the lot with other businesses, so if its going to be a busy evening definitely try to carpool.Overall, I would definitely recommend this location if you're wanting to try a BBQ place with an awesome menu and a lively atmosphere.

I will preface that I am not a big bbq lover…. However when bbq is good, it changes my mind. Unfortunately today it was not mind changing for me atleast. I came to big t’s specifically because my dad who is 70yrs old loves ribs and boy oh boy… ribs he got! He got the full rack of St.Louis ribs with the original sauce, mashed potatoes with gravy and steamed vegetables and I got the brisket with a side garden salad with blueberry vinaigrette and steamed vegetables and I wanted to bring a chicken breast home to eat for leftovers. My dad’s ribs were most definitely the star of the show. 5/5 on the ribs! The mash and gravy were also delicious! The brisket and the chicken both were kind of dry, the brisket was definitely a letdown. I know when you go to bbq you smother things in sauce, so I think if I would’ve used more sauce I wouldn’t have noticed how dry it was but that’s besides the point I wanted a nice moist meat selection and that’s not what I got. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere is exactly what you expect at a bbq joint so my suggestion here is get the ribs! Cause they are amazing.

It’s a great place to share some delicious bar-b-a meat and sides. The brisket and pulled pork are my favourites and the coleslaw has a nice citrus zing. During my last visit a few days ago, someone spilled a drink just behind me on the floor and it was not cleaned up for about 15 minutes. Other than this it’s a great place to dine and have some great local beers!
