Big T's BBQ & Smokehouse

Was excited to try the food here. Had order delivered. Was missing multiple items and the dessert was absolutely smashed in a carton five times too big for it. I called and left a message for a manager to call me back. Which had not happened over a week. I will not be giving this place a second chance.

Haven’t been here for a while but gave it a chance last week. I’m not planning to come back. My partner ordered a “Big Tea”, which is non-alcoholic. They brought him a “crazy tea” (alcoholic) instead. It is wildly irresponsible to serve alcohol to someone who didn’t order it- what if he was struggling with sobriety?

Another person in my group asked for the garden salad without cucumbers, because she can’t eat them. Server said that was fine, then served her the salad with cucumbers. It was sent back and they got it right the second time.

Service was generally slow, especially considering it wasn’t busy. Food was mid.

So if you have dietary restrictions or challenges relating to sobriety steer clear.

Food was amazing. The ribs were nice and tender and the dirty rice had a good flavor with a little kick. I am definitely coming back here again. I am very very pleased with this family owned restaurant.

So I was in last night haven’t been in for quite some time, but the last few times I’ve been in and food hasn’t been the best it’s not the same also wasn’t very warm.Waitress was great also not sure what was going on with the music playing but was horrible .

Outstanding place. Best BBQ I ever had! Big T plate for 3 of us and we ate only half, got so full.

The food used to be unbelievable, and now it is average. The location in Deer Run is always freezing cold and not a great atmosphere as it’s usually empty, guessing they do mostly takeout.

Such a disappointment. The brisket was dry and tasteless and the ribs were chewy and hard. Won’t be back.
