Made the mistake of ordering Chinese takeout on New Year’s Day as usual. Since our old favourite Chinese restaurant closed we were looking for a new place to order from. Bill’s website made it sound like we would get a decent meal with their decades of experience! A couple of vegetable spring rolls were a sign of things to come, cold (10 minute drive home) greasy and tasteless except for the plum sauce. The 2 main dishes were curried chicken and chicken egg foo yung. The curry was more like onion curry soup, very little chicken and so much liquid. The egg foo yung was slopped into the container and looked undercooked, and one bite confirmed the visual, mushy egg foo yung. Overall a huge disappointment from a restaurant that has been around for such a long time.

update NYD 2025:
first visit since they moved to this new location. The place is beautiful and clean. The service was very good. the server was kind enough to let us sub chicken for pork in the hot and sour soup which was very good. We also had the chicken fried rice and duck with green onions which was not too oily and was flavourful. Total came to $56 including a pop.
Good food. Great service. We had the shrimp fried rice which was super flavorful. Also had the chilli chicken which was fresh but not as savoury and spicy as I expected and would have liked it to be, it was more on the sweet side.
