We used BlackSalt to cater for two work luncheon events. We needed a quick and easy meal for people to grab and sit down right away, so we tried the cold lunch box option. It's the most affordable option we could find, and it did not disappoint! all meals came with a sandwich/wrap, a drink and a side salad. They were so quick to respond and were very accommodating. They even wrote the names & order on the lid for every meal, which made it very easy to pass out.
Would highly recommend, and we'll likely use them again.

Joel and his staff were extremely friendly and flexible with the menu. They offered suggestions which were helpful. The food was very good and the leftovers were handed out to those who wanted them. The leftover salad was left behind in their bowls, trusting us to deliver them back. We hosted a wedding dinner for 57 people and all seemed happy with the food. All dietary restrictions were met. I would use them again if I hosted another function. Thx Joel and team!

We hired Blacksalt to cater a wedding. Clear cut menu, schedule, and directions were provided to Blacksalt well in advance and reviewed the week before. They were late to the event. Dinner was served 90 minutes late. They did not bring the beverage station that had been ordered and paid for. It was an outdoor farm wedding and +30 degrees. One of the people accompanying the caterer was poorly dressed, unprofessional and just sat staring at their phone when they weren’t smoking in a very dry grass field.I believe the food to be okay and plentiful and the server was clearly trying to make the best of the situation, however, the event was sorely affected by all of the problems and we spent the celebration trying to find snacks and drinks for our guests.
