Firstly the good stuff - server, arancini, and tiramisu all very good. Unfortunately very very disappointed with the size of my main pasta course. Tiny! It was also very mediocre in flavour for an Italian restaurant! My fellow diners joked that I had been given the starter by mistake. We actually mentioned this issue at the end to the server who said he would ‘pass it on’. A very sad part to an otherwise fairly decent meal.

Today I had the pleasure of going to Annabelle's downtown for lunch. I had the radiatori wild mushroom ragu, parmesan brodo, pecorinio. Unbelievably good. I think it was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten and after 28 years of entertaining clients and eating all over, I have tried alot! This restaurant is awesome. I asked for a wine pairing and they recommended a cabernet franc which went beautifully. If tou love pasta this is a must visit location in Calgary.

My wife has celiac and we were very clear with the waiter. Within 2 hours it was very clear they didn't take care of her allergy. Very disappointing and staff should have to go through what she did in order to wake up and take this seriously.

Quite little gem in downtown Calgary. The perfect place when you want to relax and have a genuine conversation (no shouting required!) Attentive service and excellent food. Loved the attention to allergies--you really made us welcome!

Our hostess was extremely uninviting. My husband and I ordered the short ribs. It came with one rib which you could barely cut with a knife. Our friend ordered the Caesar salad which did not resemble a Caesar salad and she did complain to our server. The whole experience here was very disappointing.

Had an absolute blast at this place; the food was great, the music was upbeat, and the service was friendly.
The focaccia was fantastic, though very dry. The whipped ricotta did a good job of balancing the dryness and the honey was a great addition.
The campanelle was fantastic, super creamy and cooked al dente. Beet salad could do with a bit more, it was on the bland side; perhaps some tartness to bring out the muted flavours.
Overall, fantastic restaurant and great location - very central and a block away from the Jack Singer theatre. Will be back.
I keep trying this place but the service has been off and on. They are nice every time but cocktails were not great and server could not tell the difference between a Negroni and an old fashion, was a little surprised. Very nice inside food was ok but they could step this up and have a great spot.

We had tickets to something at The Jack Singer, and even though they didn't know this the food came out quick and was very good. The staff were very friendly and quick to serve us. I would go there again.
