This is a great spot for a bite as it has a menu full of flavourful choices. It is not too expensive and you get a large amount of food. I especially love their fish tacos, fish and chips, garlic bread, and falafel bowl. The staff are always super nice too!

I had fish tacos and they were awful!! Cold, dry and no taste at all! At the end we ordered one of each dessert! Oh my god!! Really?? All of them were really bad!! Really small and really expensive, the worse part is I got sick with that food!!! You should make an effort!

Best seafood chowder I've ever had!! The fish and chips were delicious. Homemade tartar sauce, fish was not greasy, but crispy and delicious!! The only downfall was the washroom. Going down all those stairs with a bad knee and the toilet stalls were like a closet. If you are handicapped you couldn't do it! I'd say build a washroom upstairs too.

Wonderful. Came here on Thanksgiving day so it was not busy. Had the OG Halifax donair. Delicious 😋. Drinks are overpriced but food makes it worth the visit.

A couple of days ago we had a late lunch at Blowers & Grafton in Mission. Simply put, it was superb. Linda had the mini-lobster rolls. There were as 3 rolls, perfectly plated, all real lobster meat, and a small slaw under to give it that delightfully fresh crunch. The mini buns were, size-wise, the same as half hot dog buns, but much nicer. They were slightly but perfectly toasted, and then heaped with the lobster mixture. No fillers here! She absolutely loved it. As a side, she had a small cup of Atlantic seafood chowder, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. I went for the fish and chips, of course. Their house speciality is beer-battered haddock. The fries were as perfect as anyone could expect. Just the right size, and a perfect cook. The fish was absolutely delightful. Perfectly cooked (it's so easy to overcook fish). All placed nicely in a lovely basket. The batter was perfectly crispy, and it stayed that way, even after I put on some very nice malt vinegar. Without a doubt, this was the best fish and chips I have ever had in Calgary. The only (minor) issue was that the lovely basket for the fish and chips was a bit crowded, making it difficult to cut the fish. But, I can ask for a pate instead next time. Presentation: 5/5. Had a great experience at Blowers & Grafton! The food and service were both excellent — we had the nachos and ended up ordering two portions of wings because they were so good. The atmosphere was lively without being too loud, and trivia night added a really fun touch. Our server Cort was friendly, attentive, and kept things running smoothly all evening. Definitely a spot I'd come back to!

We have been going to Blowers for years now and food is always great! I admire their consistency delivering tasty food for very decent prices, especially the happy hour menu. Seafood chowder is to die for! I never had anything there that I did not like. I have never been to the East Coast but this place really makes want to check it out :) Service is always fast and friendly. Overall, we have never had a bad experience. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Went for brunch in Mission and decided to try their patio — great choice. Max was our server and he was fantastic. The brunch was excellent, cocktails were spot on, and the service was friendly and attentive.

The Donair breakfast wrap was packed to the brim, messy, and exactly what you need for an hangover cure. The lobster benny was top notch. All of this at a very fair price point. Solid spot — 5 stars.

I had an extremely disturbing experience at this restaurant that left me questioning their food safety practices. The first dish I was served was cold and inadequate, which was disappointing enough, but the replacement was far worse — a fried chicken burger that turned out to be completely raw inside.

Serving raw chicken is not just careless, it’s dangerous. Salmonella and other foodborne pathogens can cause serious illness, and the fact that this was served to me shows a shocking lack of proper kitchen standards. When I realized I had eaten raw chicken, I was panicked and sick. What’s worse is that there was no real follow-up or acknowledgment from the restaurant about how serious this incident was - only after I asked for the manager contact details and reached out directly.

This wasn’t just one mistake — it points to deeper problems with food handling and oversight in the kitchen. I would strongly caution others about eating here until it’s clear the restaurant has taken responsibility, reported the incident to the health authority, and implemented real food safety protocols and takes pride in their food. It’s a shame because it used to be good spot. I won’t be going here again that’s for sure
