Blue Ocean Vietnamese Restaurant

Excellent service! I came on Saturday. The staff was fast and attentive — my food arrived in under 5 minutes, and the coffee came out just one minute after I ordered. Super quick! The portions of pho and bun bo Hue were huge and delicious. I felt welcomed and respected from the moment I walked in. This place really knows how to treat their customers. I left happy and satisfied. Highly recommend!

I try to go here whenever I’m in Calgary! Love the food and have never been disappointed.

It's unethical to make people wait to order when the restaurant isn't even half full. I recommend training your staff, who often respond to those who stand up for their rights with nonsensical language.

This dish needs more love! Today I accidentally ordered the Grilled Pork & Rice—and wow, I was glad I did! They prepare super quickly, but the real star was the flavor: juicy pork, perfect seasoning, and fantastic texture. I was SHOCKED this isn’t on any all reviews! 🥢 If you’re visiting Blue Ocean, skip the usual and grab this underrated hero. I would definitely order again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was amaze. It came out quick and hot. My picky son even tried some vermicelli noods and he approved. Portions are huge we took lots home. Service was great.

Tried to pop in after 2 pm to grab a quick lunch. I thought with it being a mostly empty restaurant and not peak time, that it would be quick. I waited over 30 minutes for the food for the waitress to come and say she actually delivered my food to another table and that I'd have to wait more. I'm sorry but if you're waitresses are mixing up orders and tables during the slow period, I think there's a big problem here. I had to leave very disappointed without actually getting my food, after waiting about 45 minutes.

Came in with my aunt and mom the other day for some lunch and wow I had to update my last review!
My mom ordered wor wonton and it was delicious! The broth was so nice, I could honestly just order that!!! My aunt ordered a vermicelli plate and she was so surprised by how large the portion was! She also said it was so damn delicious and could feed 2 people and a child haha!
Can't wait to return and try other items! Service was great and the lady was kind. It was surprisingly busy during lunch hour!

Such delicious food! I had never had stir fried vermicelli, but it will now be my go-to. I ordered the chicken and added beef and prawns; it will last me 3 meals! I appreciate that the prawns are large and that the restaurant removes the tails. My partner had the grilled special vermicelli and loved it. He would have liked the spring rolls to be more girthy but still found them tasty. We will order again (and again)!!

Very slow service. Wish I could give a zéro absolutely no customer service.
