My go to Vietnamese place while I was living in Calgary 2020-2023.
Even if you eat it every week, you won't get tired of it, the taste will never change.
I wish I could just come into the restaurant and order what I used to have there.

Hands down best pho. Had all the “Calgary’s Best” runner ups, this is the best, reliable, spicy and flavourful. Beef is good quality. They use thicker noodles than I’ve had with most but overall still 20/10, just get it already!

I live close by and order from here occasionally but I will no longer support them. The take out service and food used to be really good. But the last couple times I have ordered for pickup I have called at least an hour in advance and still had to wait. My food was mediocre warm, greasy and tasted stale, yet there was maybe 5 people in the actual restaurant 🤔. I was not impressed with the chicken soup very bland and their dumplings/ giozza were deep fried. Have to say I am disappointed now and will be ordering from a different restaurant.

I ordered satay beef soup from this place weekly for a long time and then the last two times, the soup has been incredibly spicy, almost inedible and no flavour. It’s super disappointing because this pho used to be my favourite in the city.

We ordered something from menu, few minutes and Recieved on the table ! food was hot and fresh. Taste amazing ! I love their spring roll, chicken nudle aoup and vermicelli. Highly recommended! Tou need try.

I'm your regular. Pho is getting better. Good quality beef, presentation is great. the bowl they use now is slightly smaller then before I actually like it. Spring rolls are homemade and served very hot and crunchy wrap. Very good. First time for Vietnamese coffee, very rich. Service is on point. However if they could do table visit at least once during mid meal would be even better. However i know the girls are working hard as always. Still worth 5 stars.

Blue Ocean is the absolute best Vietnamese food in Calgary, hands down! We've searched and eaten at so many other Vietnamese places, but once we found Blue Ocean, all others pale in comparison. Seriously, we have their food about 4 days of a week, every week. Their professionalism, expertise, and kindness make them the best in every category. If you love Vietnamese food, give them a try!

food was really good! service was amazing, and portions were very generous! the taste is exquisite!

Nice atmosphere and quick service. The appetizers were very good. I had the tofu with veggies for my main course. Some of the tofu tasted burnt as they probably were fried just after a pork chop or something similar, the rest of the tofu was fine. The dish was overwhelmed with noodles and it was not as good as others I have had.
