I went to Bobbyâs yesterday, I went in with a group of four including myself. Me and my sister got gift cards to there from my grandfather and we enjoyed it until we all ended up vomiting when we got home. All four of us. I order the beef dip, my sister ordered the shepherds pie poutine, and my boyfriend and her boyfriend ordered the steak sandwich. We all ended up puking and we were not sharing food. This is disturbing, before this horrible experience I loved Bobbyâs. After all of us puking I donât see myself going again. Kitchen must be contaminated I am so sick still.
People please read! This restaurant is great hands down except for all who dine here please note the owner expects 13% Tip-Out from her servers every day to pay for her chefs she can't afford. Tip generously here as your servers are losing over half their wage every shift. Good day!

Before the sale of Bobby's, this pub was perfect. After the new owners have taken over, it has gone to the bins. My roommate got food poisoning from a recent wing night visit and they have done absolutely nothing to remedy it. We were not offered a refund, instead, after providing all of the requested information, we were ghosted. The tap beer is flat every single time we visit (literally have to send it back each time), along with the sodas as well. That is if you get your drink in the first place. In the summer we had waited nearly 20 minutes to get service on the patio and it took well over 20 minutes to receive a simple tap beer and margarita. We have kept our business there as we love to support local, but unfortunately this business no longer cares for its customers safety and satisfaction. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and avoid crippling food poisoning.

I've been to Bobbys many times and was always fantastic. The food still is. The service has gone downhill. It's a ghost town almost every night, sad to see a neighbourhood pub so empty. Last 2-3 recent experiences have been less the ideal with an extremely rude manager that seems to not want to serve customers or treat staff correctly.

I was very happy to see some great menu items for food and drink. Haggis about 5.5/10 however still good given its in Alberta. Our server Victoria was amazing. The management/ownership also very very kind as well. Only two things id suggest are increasing portion size of wings as well as informing guests about no coffee refills. $4/cup of coffee, especially drip coffee (if it is, I am not too sure) ... should be free or at least let the guest be made aware. Other than that I do recommend this place. A solid 7.8/10. I will definitely return.

When you see a sign in their entrance stating best classic fish and chips youâd expect theyâd be pretty good. My guess is the water logged, unseasoned fish had the batter slide right off on the way to the fryer. And possibly it was then thrown on a plate that wasnât dry since when I cut my first bite water flooded out. Beer was pretty flat. We ate our meals, thatâs what we ordered. But at the end after paying we did mention to the server that it wasnât good and we were told it was made by the head cook. Wow. Maybe take the sign down.

We had been to Bobbyâs Place in Legacy once before and werenât wowed by the food, but decided to give it another shot on Saturday for the live music. Unfortunately, this visit was even more disappointing.
The service on their patio was short and to the point, but friendly, and the live music was enjoyable, but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. The pub vibe inside sadly falls flat.
The menu was a novel⊠over 60 items, and food was overpriced for the quality. $21.99 for a handful of low quality steak bites and $17.99 for a small portion of previously frozen calamari was excessive, especially when the taste was mediocre at best.
We walked away feeling both regretful and underwhelmed. Itâs a real shame, because we live within walking distance and would have loved to support a local spot. Sadly, we wonât be returning.

I have been frequenting Bobbyâs for several years (back when it was in Braeside) and in general have always enjoyed it, and is now my local pub in legacy. The food is decent nothing to write home about, often go for the wings but have always thought the food is a bit overpriced for what you get. The beer is hit and miss often too warm or flat. I have to say though the service here the past year has been absolutely horrible! There are a couple of servers in particular that are so unfriendly it makes me never want to come back. Throws the menus down without a hello âdo you know what you want?â Like seriously? And we are expected to tip? (This server I have had SEVERAL times and her attitude and service is the same every time) They donât check up on you often if you need anything and if they do they are rude about it and never crack a smile. If you are on the patio expect to wait 30 mins before you even see one. As a small local business I would expect the service to go above and beyond to connect to people in the community, talk and build rapport with the customers to help with repeat business. Itâs very disappointing that the pub now makes you feel like you are not welcome there when you are paying customers keeping the business open. As someone who has worked in customer service industry for the past 20 years I strongly suggest some training for your staff. Hopefully there are some improvements coming and I will start to visit again.
