Worst Mexican food I have ever ordered.
They did not follow instructions, put lettuce inside of the wrap that turned completely soggy and the nastiest cheese inside in lieu of the feta. They forgot my drink, didn't send a receipt and the person I spoke to on the drink was useless. Offered chips & guacamole to make up for their issues.

Oh and they sent ranch instead of sour cream. And didn't include the sour cream that came with the dish. Nice little money grab.

Do not recommend eating here unless you like crap sevice and crappy food.

Disgusting.

When we first arrived, we were told we had only two hours to spend at the restaurant before we had to leave. We decided to stay anyway and try the experience. We ordered the bread, Brussels sprouts, oyster mushroom “calamari,” and the lobster risotto.

The mushrooms were very tough and lacked flavor. After eating, both my spouse and I felt sick, and we suspect it was due to the unfresh, smelly lobster in the risotto. Overall, the food quality was extremely disappointing.

We definitely would not recommend this place. It’s worth going somewhere with better-quality dishes, more flavor, and where you can actually enjoy your meal and drinks—especially on a Saturday—without being told you have limited time.

This is the best Mexican spot I’ve tried in the city. The burritos and nachos are the best in town, the prices are great, and the quality and service are excellent.

I fear to say that this place has went downhill. I’ve been here a couple of times a few years ago, and I was excited to bring my mom here.

- They are understaffed now ( I remember they had 2 other male working in the kitchen, one was serving) so there really wasn’t much service, even though the server came twice checking if food was okay, she didn’t fill my cup. It wasn’t packed during my time there and I really didn’t need the checkup without any real service.
- Ordered Birria con consumer and was only given one spoon (we were two but that’s okay).
- Also, server seemed to not remember what we had. After entering our bill, she asked me if those were all we had and after I said yes, she looked towards our table to reconfirm (even though she had already took some of the plates away). I can’t be sure because I didn’t ask for receipts but she might have charged me the price of duros loco when I ordered duros. The math just didn’t add up when i recalculated after we went home.

I attend university nearby, dont know if it was intentional because i came in late before closing. But after i wrapped up for the day i drove down to get dinner and found a chunk of plastic inside my burrito. In general its mediocre Mexican food at best, burritos are massive in size and you barely get a full bite of everything inside. Dont bother going honestly

I brought a couple of friends here because back in 2018, I used to come for the tacos and loved them. I wanted my friends to experience real Mexican food for the first time—but I was so disappointed. I don’t know what’s happened since 2018, but the food has really gone downhill. Nothing tasted authentic anymore—it was bland, overcooked, dry, and completely lacking flavor.

The bill for the three of us was nearly $80, which made it even worse. We ordered the Pastor tacos, dry, with no pico de gallo. The sopes were just as bad; we chose chicken, but it was dry and came with brown beans instead of the traditional black beans. That was surprising, since I’ve eaten plenty of sopes in my life and never seen them made that way.

The worst, though, was the flauta. The chicken inside was hard and dry, and the outside was overcooked and almost burnt. I even asked for pico de gallo and salsa verde, but neither tasted remotely Mexican. I don’t understand why it didn’t come with pico de gallo. Are you in a piece of lime. The service wasn’t that good I had to get up and ask for things instead of them coming to us, there was no smiles or greetings. It was an uncomfortable situation to say the least.

I left feeling disappointed and embarrassed. My friends had never tried Mexican food before, and this experience didn’t do it justice. I really hope they bring back someone who truly knows how to cook authentic Mexican dishes.

We went there as a group of four and ordered three birria tacos with consomĂ©. The food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant’s atmosphere was really nice.

My go to spot for burritos 💯
Bodega does not skimp out on quality fillings. The rice is tasty on its own, the pollo (chicken) has great flavour and the al pastor (pork w/ pineapple) is packed full of deliciousness.
Staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere makes me smile.
Gracias por todo, Bodega!

This restaurant is located in Kensington, one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods I have ever been in. Crowds. Music. Hustle and Bustle. The ebb and flow of the city. Yet so safe.

It was a warm September night when we stopped here for a great birthday dinner before ice cream cake at the house.

It's a small restaurant with a small but varied menu. There were eight of us in the party and we tried just about everything. Well prepared food that was very tasty.

A great selection of beer and Mexican soda too.

Our waiter was exceptional. He was the only one working the front end of the restaurant and he was a pro.

I highly recommend this restaurant.
