Wow. How. How does this place have a high rating?? Yesssss the lady is friendly and such, but the place is awful!! Dated, dirty, old, grimey. The taste is not any better. Portions small!!! Springrolls soooo greasy. The #26, lemongrass beef was disgusting. Zero lemongrass, dry sliced, questionable meat. The hot sauce and fish sauce was watered down. No joke!!! I feel like whoever left five star reviews constantly on this restaurant, is probably a senior citizen that doesn't have a pallet and maybe doesn't venture anywhere else but Bolsa. 1 star for the owner, but the rest was horrid.

10/10. The lady who works here, refers to herself as ‘Mama’, makes you feel at home & so welcomed! The food is delicious, I ordered spring rolls to-go after my meal but got caught up in conversation with my friends, and Mama voluntarily re-made them for me before I left so they would be fresh for when I got home. Absolutely love this place.

My go to pho spot in the city! The service is always amazing and the employees are all very friendly and attentive. Their food always hits the spot. Every person I have brought here has now exclusively orders their Vietnamese food from Bolsa! Definitely in my top 10 favourite restaurants in Calgary!!

Good and busy place. Went for a dinner for two, delicious sautéed fish in clay pot. The portion is a tick small in my opinion vs the price tag but not a big deal to us. Will be back!

A friend of mine and I found this place in 2018 and felt the need to make a special trip back in 2025. We were delighted to see the same owner Mama is still working and preparing the most tasty food and best satay we've ever had. The food portions are very generous and full of that "home cooked meal" feeling. The fish tanks are fun to watch while waiting for your food which is promptly prepared and fresh. Worth the travel from Vancouver to re experience this amazing place.

Mama was wonderful as usual! This is the first place I ever had pho, and still to this day it's one of my favorites! As mama says "we don't sell sexy waitresses, we sell sexy food".
This is my favourite local restaurant! The owners are so nice and the food is amazing. Try the rare beef satay soup or the gluten free beef hot plate!!! You will not be disappointed!
