Save yourself time and money. Dosa and accompaniments were all tasteless. When we gave feedback the owner says we don’t serve South Indian dosa we serve North Indian dosa and this is how it comes. Won’t come back again.

Awesome restaurant. The atmosphere is great and very unique. I loved the waterfall and weather effects.
The food was excellent and well priced. We had the pani puri, malai momos, and paneer dosa, which were all $9.99 each. Shared between two people, it was too much food for us to finish. The pani puri was especially excellent, though less filling than the other two dishes. We also had the cold coffee shakes, which were quite tasty.
Service was fast and polite. Each booth has a button to call the server, which was responded to promptly. The (I assume) owners were also very nice.
My only complaint is that no water was served to the table. We didn't ask for any, but from some other reviews it seems like they would have charged us for it. That definitely would have soured my experience to some degree if it came up. Providing some basic tap water with the meal would definitely improve the experience.

Outstanding customer service and the ambiance is an absolute pleasant experience. You should try. Also for events price is reasonable.

Typical East Indian attitude. Went there with family to have tea, the guy at the front asked if it was the only tea you wanted to have when we asked if we could sit. When we said yes, he was hesitant and changed his expression and did not seem to be happy. We left without buying anything.

We were looking for a quick bite before returning to Edmonton and we saw this place. I must say it’s beautiful inside and out. The food to the people and the environment and the serene atmosphere is just on point. It’s a must visit.

Had amazing experience with my food. I ordered paneer dosa, veg Manchurian and fresh mix juice, it had the same street taste of india. The service was great. I didn’t had to wait longer. Must recommend place.

Bombay Dosa Cafe is definitely a vibe. I came here as a student looking for a cozy study spot and was pleasantly surprised by the “weather simulator” ambiance. Rain sounds, shifting lights, thunder in the background felt like I was sipping a drink in the middle of a monsoon. A+ for the creativity.
But the food? Not quite my thing. The drink I got had vermicelli noodles in it, which caught me completely off guard. Let’s just say I wasn’t emotionally prepared to chew my drink. It wasn’t bad, just not for me. Overall, worth trying once for the experience, but I probably wouldn’t come back for the food.
