Our server Nakia was great, the kitchens food was excellent. The bartender caleb made phenomenal cocktails. The manager Lorne was very friendly and seemed like he cared about the place. Recommend the pork belly. Would come back

Disappointing! From the waiting time to the food. We ordered the flatiron steak for medium rare but they served us very rare like they just toast the outer skin of the steak and when I cut the meat it was so undone and literally rare. We also ordered avocado toast with shrimp and crispy pork. The dish itself was a disaster. The base bread was hard as rock. They forgot to put the crispy pork there was no crispy pork literally. And the waiting time for those dishes was 1 hour. Please go to other decent steak house rather than wasting your money here. Not worth it. Not worth the hour wait for the steak. Disaster.

We enjoyed a light dinner consisted of the carrot ginger soup and another side.
The soup was extremely tasty as was the side salad.
Unfortunately our server was not as attentive as I would have wished. My water glass needed refilling and there was no one around to offer the refill, it finally got filled as we asked for our cheque.

Didn’t seem that busy. I was by myself sitting at the bar. After 15 min no one had paid me any attention. I left.

Nice place for a good selection of fusion food. The lamb, beef and fish dishes were very good. The tiramisu cake is very good and completes the dinner. Friendly and helpful and friendly staff.

Came in on a Thursday evening, didn’t seem too busy, got in for two with no resos. Sat down, got menus, no water at the table. Took about 15 minutes for a server to show up - at that point we were already putting our coats on to leave.

Shame the service was so poor, the menu seemed good and the restaurant looked nice. Probably won’t be back to try until reviews are more favourable.

Don't think they've one single time had the beer I ordered off their menu in stock. The restaurant definitely wants to be fancy but the food isn't quite there. Good but not great.

What started out as a fantastic Sunday hanging out with friends and our fur kids ended up to be so disappointing when we decided to check out this restaurant after hearing so many good things about especially being a dog friendly patio.

Initially, the host or manager (wore different clothes than the servers) brought us to a table on the patio, brought us menus and waters quickly and said our server would be right with us.

Awhile later, our server came to grab our order and we asked for more water, server said he'd bring a jug and just never came back to our table.

We asked another server tending to a table behind us for a jug of water and he gave us the jug he had which was very nice.

It took an immensely long period of time for two sandwiches, some eggs, and a salad to come out the kitchen.

In fact, the only thing that came out was the two sandwiches and then a long while later the salad came out with rotten and spoiled produce. We were told the poached eggs were dropped on the ground and would be another minute but again we waited for it.

Eventually, the only thing that made sense was to cancel the replacement of the salad and cancel the eggs Benedict. The gentleman that seated us initially took off the two items from the final bill.

We would have just enjoyed being able to eat the food instead of being comped. Our server just never came back to tend to our table. It was quite disappointing overall.

Came on a Tuesday evening and pizzas were $15 on the patio (not available inside to my understanding). One pizza’s dough was a little bit on the salty side but overall good and would order again.

The low-proof spicy margarita was very meh. It kind of just tasted like limeade and I didn’t get any of the kick from the jalepeno. Not worth the $13.

Brussel sprouts and calamari were good.

Sour cherry and lemon cheesecake was meh. The lemon curt and cherry were both on the plate and not actually part of the cheesecake.

Food is good...not mind blowing, but consistent. The patio is amazing and always lots of room. We love Borough for Sunday brunch and are always pleased. Staff is great .

Went with a group for happy hour. The food and specialty drinks we ordered from the happy hour were very good and reasonably priced. The homemade potato chips were great. After 6 pm when the dinner menu was in effect, the prices were significantly higher. One of our party ordered a pizza and said it was good. Most of us didn't order a main dish because we thought it a bit pricey. The patio is awesome with plenty of seating. No complaints about the service, our server was very proficient handling s large table of orders.
