Bow Tie Pizza (Killarney)

Honestly this is the best pizza ever. The regular pizza dough is delish, the option for GOOD gluten free pizza is here and the toppings are so fresh. The Greek salad is also a must and the wings are also pretty good! The berry cheesecake my 11 year old loves. Skip the chains and support local. You won't be disappointed!!

Some of the best pizza in the city. The gluten free crust is one of the best we have had! They are definitely not cheap with their toppings. They also care about customer service and are very genuine in everything they do. So refreshing! Highly recommend Bow Tie (great story of three friends too!). So happy to have found this pizza place.

Our go to place for pizza in the area. Great local owners and great management staff on site. They treat you like you’ve been friends forever. All pizzas we’ve hard are good but our favs are donair and BBQ chicken.

Ordered salt and pepper wings and a 10" pepperoni, green pepper and mushroom a couple weeks ago and the quality was exceptional. The toppings were heavy and the wings were like butter. Tonight, I ordered hot wings and a 12" Brooklyn pepperoni and was quite disappointed.

Some of the drums looked a little pink and frankly, for $20 a pound, it would be nice to see some celery and carrot sticks to accompany the wings.

As for the pizza, the sauce was very pedestrian with very little flavor and the pizza was overwhelmingly salty and just felt clunky. Must have been an off night because Bow Tie is usually fantastic quality, though a rare treat because it is more expensive than most, let's be real. With the recent cold snap and it being Black Friday, I'm sure they were busier than usual but at the price point you guys have, I won't be back. Quite disappointed with tonight's order, respectfully. This is still a great spot.

Edit- The general manager, Rain, called to rectify the situation and I was very impressed with that. Absolutely fantastic service here. Thanks guys.

We got a donair pizza and chicken bacon ranch.
And Wow they were bomb! Especially the donair. It has the perfect amount of sauce and toppings. Absolutely loved it.

Ordered from Uber eats. Good top ratio but crust was burnt and well over cooked. Super disappointing considering other reviews were so good.

Update: Changed this to 5 star. I meant to come back and just got a notification from the owner but prior to them even reaching out my friend convinced me to give them a second try and I did. I've now given them like 10 more tries for myself and friends. I think the burnt crust was a one off and this might actually be my fav pizza place in the city :)

Chipotle Chicken Pizza done right. Right amount of spice, right amount of sauce. Loved it! Nothing like that in Ottawa

We recently ordered catering from Bow Tie Killarney for an office event, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish!

The pizza, which we were trying for the first time, was a crowd-pleaser—thick, generously topped, and incredibly satisfying. Bow Tie’s catering options were perfect for larger groups, allowing us to select a variety of items. We ordered the Caesar salad, basil pesto pasta salad (a clear favorite), and an assortment of desserts, all of which were a hit. The quality of the food was excellent across the board.

The service was equally impressive. Despite us placing our order on short notice, the Bow Tie Killarney team went above and beyond to accommodate us. I spoke with a staff member I believe his name was Reign? He was friendly, attentive, and proactive in keeping us updated on any adjustments due to the last-minute nature of our order. We greatly appreciated their flexibility, especially when they arranged for our food to be ready by our 11:30 a.m request, even though the restaurant typically opens at that time.

Our delivery driver was punctual and friendly, making the final part of the experience seamless.

Overall, this was a wonderful first experience with Bow Tie, and we look forward to ordering from them again. Thank you from everyone at Mercer Calgary!

Good quality pizza and perfect customer service

Bow Tie has been making incredible pizza for my partner and I for over a year. It's our go-to place without question. We've tried other places to try something different, but we always end up disappointed and coming back to Bow Tie. Always perfectly cooked, generous with the toppings, and fantastic customer service. I picked up an order once that was three minutes later than they quoted and they gave me a free soda and extra dipping sauce. Absolutely not necessary, but absolutely next-level service.

I'm also the manager at another locally-owned business, and Bow Tie has supported us by providing door prizes for community events.

If you need a new pizza place, go to Bow Tie. Don't even bother trying all the other local places: They're simply not as good.

Pizza tastes amazing! The painful process of getting your order at the counter, this is getting ridiculous. 3 times I've nearly had to provide ID just to show who I am. Not a great system. But, the food is worth the confusion at the counter when you pick up.
