I was gonna just let this go and then I read other recent reviews. My vehicle broke down so I walked over to auto value to grab a small belt that I needed.
I had a Walmart bag to put it in and when I walked into the bar i got looked up and down. The place was almost empty, i chose a table out of the way near the washrooms on the bar side. When I was on my 3rd beer the female manager with the glasses who gives the vibes of a karen comes over and builds this promotional device that she has to put together in multiple peices blocking the side patio exit door as if they assumed I was going to run out on the bill. Felt pretty insulted. Judging how I was dressed as it was -20 with windchill, meanwhile I have thousand of dollars in the bank. Newsflash- there are people that come here in a suit but are borrowing money from mom.

I frequent Brewsters locations all over the city and have never had an issue until today. We came here to have drinks and pass some time, but felt uncomfortable due to management watching us closely and making us feel judged for having loud conversations. If you’re going to a bar to relax and socialize, this atmosphere was disappointing.

Consistent food quality and beer keep the place busy! It gets busy and loud so keep that in mind. Good service but not intrusive. Love it!

I have been waiting for my food for 45+ minutes and our server hasn't been by to get drink refills or anything in 22+ minutes. Ridiculous.

Why I’m leaving this review
I’m a regular who drops by now and then, and I wanted to share a balanced take after seeing a recent Google comment that called for a “revamp” of the staff and kitchen.
What I’ve noticed
Wing night can get seriously busy—especially during the holidays and with a seasonal flu going around. The wait can be long, but the food still arrives hot and the staff stay friendly despite the rush.
Bottom line
Instead of demanding sweeping changes, a little patience and realistic expectations make the experience much better for everyone. I hope this helps future diners know what to expect and gives the team the credit they deserve for doing their best when the place is packed.

0/5. The girl at the front said the wait was a few minutes for a table and about 30 minutes for food once seated and we have never been here so we decided to wait. It took over an hour for an order of wings to hit the table from the time we ordered - not the time we entered/sat… took another 15 for the rest of it, once we did get our food it was horrendous. Burger itself was undercooked, buns were served crunchy and hard likely from sitting, and the onion rings were mush. The wings were terrible quality, and they charged for 10 and only gave 9, wonder how many times a night they do this to save a buck or two because the server wasn’t shocked when we pointed it out.. The server we got was friendly, but they’d have a hell of a lot easier time at their job if the restaurant had proper staffing support and a good kitchen.

We have been long time customers of this Brewsters location, 5 years at least. I must say that recently the kitchen has severely declined. The servers are very kind, and some have been here a long time and are awesome to their regulars. But the wait for food and sometimes drinks is absolutely ridiculous. The kitchen is clearly plagued with issues and needs to be overhauled. A slow and poorly run kitchen will affect the entire restaurant, and ultimately screws everybody in the end. I know this from experience in the industry. Lovely restaurant, but hopefully they can fix their kitchen issues.

We ordered for three people, and my husband ordered a burger. Our order took a really long time, and when it finally came, his fries were stale and cold and the bottom of his burger was soggy, while our daughter’s pizza was piping hot. They clearly had the burger sitting under a lamp waiting for the pizza. He couldn’t eat it , it was disgusting. We kindly told the waitress cause, it’s not her fault. In the end, they only gave us 15% off his burger, even though it was inedible. She said that’s all they could do. It should have been completely removed from the bill, as it was a full bill and he couldn’t even eat 1/4 of his meal. Super disappointed and won’t go here EVER for food again.

This is a cozy, low-key late-night spot we visited recently. We stopped by for drinks and Thursday wing night and really enjoyed the classic bar atmosphere. The music was well chosen—loud enough to set the mood but still quiet enough to have a conversation. There was just the right amount of people, and everyone seemed relaxed and doing their own thing. Service was quick, and our server was incredibly friendly. Overall, it’s a great, laid-back late-night hangout and a perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Honestly. The reviews of this place being slow are understated. We showed up at 1pm. Waited 10 mins for a server. Ordered one appetizer and a kids meal plus drinks. Sat for 40 minutes before we got them. It’s shockingly bad.
