Brewsters Brewing Company and Restaurant - Lake Bonavista

Ordered the cheese pizza today for my kid. If the objective was to give him some soggy dough and tomato sauce with some sparse shavings of cheese in the middle then this place would've passed. However, this wasn't the objective; it should be pretty difficult to screw up a kids cheese pizza, no? Perhaps 40% of the pizza shouldn't be missing the key ingredient?!?! Shame on you, Brewsters for trying to pass this off as acceptable.

Our first time at this local pub - did not disappoint! Vanessa D was our server - attentive, friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. It was Wing night, so we started with wings (super yummy - salt and pepper) then shared a side Caesar salad. What really stood out for us as top level attention was the fact that we ordered the beef dip and fries to share. The meal was separated by the kitchen with two generous half-portions. While we spent request this - a great touch!! The fries were piping hot, perfectly salted and the beef was tender, not too saucy and pretzel bun soft/fresh. A great place to go on a Thursday night after adult rec summer hockey. We will be back. Good food. Good vibes. Great service and yummy food.

Great location, great food but today the service was slow and not knowledgeable, which is unusual for Brewsters. I waited a while to get served and pay my bill (it was not busy). When I asked the server about a certain special they said it wasn’t that special even though the menu clearly said it was. She apologized and then I got it. Anyways it’s usually alway great a small hiccup like this would have me not come back.

Came for a couple of beers and wings for Canada day, and definitely enjoyed the outdoor dog friendly patio. Our server, J Mcrae was fantastic! Best service we have ever had. 10/10 will be back!

This place is gross.
I got a high chair for my son and it was so nasty and covered in food chunks. They couldn't even be bothered to shake it off. The table was also dirty.

The server's attitude was cold just like the food.

I ordered the $25 Mac and cheese. It was cold and the noodles didn't have any cheese.

It started raining.. We ran inside and noone cared to guide us towards a table inside. I had to go up to a random server to pay and left.

Will not go back.

Went there with our kids. There were few tables available but as we approached , waiters said there's a waiting list. We were then advised there is a table in the corner, it was obvious it's the kids corner, all tables where families! Instead of lying and saying there's a waiting list why aren't you honest and say there's a designated area for families with kids. It's understandable that it is a pub and maybe not the best place for kids and it's a great idea that there's a family corner, but be honest. Felt unwelcomed. Our waiter for the table was Jessica (I believe her name was) and she was great though!

Service was excellent. The food was amazing. I had the Steakhouse Sirloin. Best steak I've had in years. My hubby had the Stacked Brisket Sandwich and he said, it was delicious.

Took our waitress over 15 minutes to come take our drink order. Then didn’t check on us or clean our table when we were finished. Overall it wasn’t a great experience which is sad as we come in at least once a month.

This is a fantastic sports pub/bar located right in the heart of Lake Bonavista. It has a giant patio that's perfect for soaking up the summer sun, and the atmosphere inside is lively and welcoming—ideal for catching a game with friends.

My guest and I dropped by for dinner during the hockey finals and really enjoyed our evening. With TVs all around, there’s no bad seat in the house for sports fans.

We ordered the fish tacos and the beef brisket sandwich. The fish tacos were outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. My guest loved the brisket sandwich, especially the tenderness of the meat. Personally, I found the BBQ sauce a bit overpowering, but that’s just a matter of taste.

Service was attentive and friendly throughout the night. There's also plenty of parking, which is a huge plus.

Overall, a great local spot for good food, drinks, and sports. We'll definitely be back. Enjoy!

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, phenomenal service!!! Mac and meatloaf is out of this world!!!!

Small portions, expensive but good beer, fish and chips wasn't that great strange batter be warned, nachos are good though. Service could have been a lot better.

Our first visit to this Brewsters Location April 4-2025 - so impressed with the Atmosphere, Service, Price and Food was Awesome - we had a party of 16 and everything was Excellent -Well Done Brewsters !!!

Have visited twice in the past 6 months and a few visits to the outdoor patio last summer. Consistently friendly staff and tasty meals. Great place to meet friends.
