Came here to celebrate a birthday with my friends and I can't say enough of how impressed I was with the service from Tristan and the rest of the crew. Even his cocktail recommendation was spot on (rolling canoe).
I've been here before but never under the set menu and I can say for the middle tier menu and the number of ppl we had this was really good value and everything tasted spot on. Only thing that could have been better was the banana foster as it was quite sweet.
I would gladly come here for any special occasion!

We read reviews before we went, so we ordered the recommended dishes. They were spectacular. The service was top notch. They took my allergies seriously. Their wine list was varied and excellent. We left very full and found we have paid the same or more at other top rated restaurants in Calgary, but we were more satisfied with this experience. The menu has good variety and we were happy with every dish. We ordered the following starters: Octopus salad, garlic bread (both phenomenal and unique), and tuna crudo with sour dough (both very good). For mains, we had the Rainbow trout and the shrimp & calamari pasta with roast cauliflower (all delicious). We took food home and were too full for dessert, but it was my birthday and they brought out a dessert. It was nice, nothing special, but the gesture was wonderful. We had 3 wines off the menu, a sparkling fROM BC, a Basque white and a Hungarian white. They all were very good wines and excellent pairing. (my husband is a sommelier). They had an interesting cocktail list, but we stuck to wines. This was a great date night!

Absolutely loved this restro, the vibe really makes it comfy, a little retro but perfectly balanced to be able to hear your party across the table.
We had the burrata, Beef Strip Steak and Rigatoni. The dishes were all delish! The Burrata was one of my favourites of all time: sweet, savoury and the right amount of acidity to ensure it wasn't monotonous (the bread was nice and smokey, too). Beef was perfectly done with the wild mushrooms gave it the earthy tones needed to bring out the flavours. And the pasta.... What can I say... buttery, cheesy and rich, what a treat!
Overall, I loved the atmosphere, relaxed service and quality of food. Highly recommended!

The service here was excellent and friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The food had some real highlights: the eggplant fries were crispy and addictive, the lamb sausage was packed with flavor, and the wood-grilled beef strip steak was cooked perfectly and full of smoky richness. Highly recommend pairing your meal with an Old Fashioned, it was well-balanced and one of the better ones I’ve had.
That said, the beef carpaccio with mushrooms was underwhelming and didn’t match the quality of the other dishes. Still, overall a great spot and worth checking out for the standout plates and vibe.
