Broken Plate Greek Restaurant YYC

Our server Zuni was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We ordered the trio of spreads, calamari, and Greek salad for appetizers. For mains, we tried the mahi mahi and short rib specials, as well as the lamb shoulder and tuna steak. Everything was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we were too full to have dessert! We will be back again

An incredible and most enjoyable evening was spent at the Broken Plate. Our server, Sawyer was always around but not pushing us. We were able to enjoy some good conversation with a glass of wine before we ordered food. The appetizer was brought out and again, not rushed. A very enjoyable time. The food was excellent. Full of flavour and well prepared. Nothing over or under done. My dinner guest and myself both left satisfied and happy. I look forward to the next time I get a craving for good Greek food. I know where I will be going. Thank you for helping us to make a memorable evening.

The Zeus Chicken and daily special (short rib) was delicious. Our waitress was beyond lovely. We are regulars and always enjoy our dining experience.

Percy was our waiter He was really awesome to have as our waiter! He was friendly, smiley, great sense of humour and very well mannered! The prices seem a bit high for what you get on the plate but the food was delicious. The chicken was very tender and not over cooked. The lemon potatoes were flavourful and the vegetables were fresh and tasty as well. Thank you Percy for your service!!

The new menu does not contain luncheon items that fit with my taste. The majority of the menu is dinner entree items, just smaller portions. There is not much to choose from if you are wanting a luncheon salad or wrap.

Love this place. Definitely our best experience when it comes to authentic Greek food in Cakgary. And can I just add that the Creme brulee is the best I have had in my entire life!!

The food is always good here, but the service from Zumi was wonderful. She went over by getting my mother an item for lunch that wasn't being served until dinner. Very friendly and very very good service.

Of course, I'll come back here.

It has been some time since we have been to Broken Plate...we won't make that mistake again. Great food, service and ambience. Will see you again next month! ;)

I have been to Broken Plate for over 5 years. It was my regular lunch place to meet up with friends. The last few lunches have been disappointing. The service was great. However they must have changed the chef. The soup and salad were more salty than ever in the past, the meat is overcooked - dry and not tasty. It is worse than my cooking at home :(.

Nice experience in a Greek restaurant. Exceptional atmosphere. Nice for gathering.

My husband and I went to Broken Plate for my birthday dinner last night and it was a wonderful experience! Right from the start, our server was so kind and attentive to the occasion. Every worker that came around made an effort to say happy birthday which was so sweet. It was great service and good environment! We got the lamp chops, the rigatoni pasta, and the baked cheesecake and everything was PHENOMENAL. I am 7 months pregnant, so the food was extra important to me! Thanks for the experience and we will be back :) I wish I remembered our servers name but 5 stars to her!
