I don’t remember her name, but the brunette waitress that worked tonight was absolutely amazing. I can’t thank her enough for her service. She made me feel so welcomed.

This was the first time in years I have been here and to be honest, we only came in because the other restaurant we were going to go to was closed on Tuesdays.

So we had open minds and a good appetite and was pleasantly surprised.

It's a dark interior which made it feel heavier but the server was bright and cheerful. The specials looked good, so I went with it and I have to say the soup was really good. The sandwich and burger was fresh and tasty. Good size portions so you felt content when you were finished. The prices were reasonable as well.

I'm glad we stopped in and I think it's someplace I would consider again, especially because it's in my neighborhood.

Nice bar to chill with friends nice ambiance

Update: 24 years we’ve been going and was back in town today after moving out of province 2 years ago. Both of us had the club house sandwich. Amazing! Every single time! A pleasure to go in and be greeting by the same man (the owner ) from all the years we’ve been going. Will always stop in here when in Calgary.

Our family favourite in Bridlewood since 2004. My hubby gets the private club every single time!!!

Tried the Bull and Finch Bridlewood for the first time. Honesty, extremely over priced.

Ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries, and the Bull and Finch Pasta. Unfortunately The burger was over cooked and the fries were so over salted :(
The pasta came out so gummy (like it was pre cooked and microwaved) and had no flavour. We did send the pasta back. So disappointing.

We ordered 2 ceaser’s and each drink came in different sized glasses. Because of the different sizes, one drink was stronger than the other. Idk. Very odd.

Also, after we sent the pasta back, the owner kept coming out from the kitchen and watching our table, very uncomfortable feeling. And the waitress wasn’t very present. Spent more time talking with the bartenders and other staff.

When we paid our bill there was no option to put in our own tip amount. It was a pre set 18% 20% or 22%. Had to tip an amount that wasn’t deserving of the service or food.

Overall we won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend this place to others. The food isn’t the best and the service is mediocre. Save your money and dine somewhere else.

Easy going neighborhood pub, good food. Had their sandwich and soup special which was good value. They should enforce the smoking rule of 15' from the front door. And note, not family friendly as they have VLT's on site so don't take your kids. But a nice pub in general.
