We came for lunch for the first time and wow! The food is delicious and the staff are very nice. Definitely a hidden gem. 10/10 we will be back!

This is my partner and I’d favourite and go-to burger place in Calgary! The prices are fair for burgers and fries, and both are so delicious. We usually get the master burgers and we dress it how we like, and they always get it right since they double check with you before processing. I usually sub out the BBQ sauce for ketchup and mustard. Their fries are AMAZING with the seasoning that they use. So much so that sometimes we drive over just to get the family fries and sit for our picnic. Can’t WAIT to go back and have another meal there. Thanks for all that you guys do!

Came with friends, had to bring my wife...old time drive in vibe, good food. Only draw back is you sit at picnic tables outside. A patio heater would go a long way. It's good and worth it

AWFUL FOOD, AWFUL SERVICE, OVERPRICED Avoid this place, it was way overpriced and they screwed up a simple order. I pulled in at 7:10, no cars in the driveway through, one customer inside. I waited almost 10 mins at the first window for anyone to take my order. No response. Honked my horn, I could see for people inside but they weren't even paying attention. Pulled up to the 2nd window, no response, finally honked again and waved, the guy finally acknowledged me. Took my order of a milkshake, a Swiss mushroom burger, fries and two PLAIN hamburger patties with cheese for my dogs. Asked him 2x, no seasoning, no buns, just the patties with cheese. Yes, yes. Got the order, the two plain cheeseburgers were on buns, stuck with the cheese between two buns and salted to death, had to throw that out. My Swiss burger was just OK, nothing great, also very salty. And the fries, put two in my mouth, spit them out, the damn salt was overpowering, couldn't eat any of the meal. Threw out most of my hamburger, threw out the dogs (supposed to be) plain cheeseburger on the buns and threw out the fries as they were inedible. The shake was OK, not great, just OK and it cost me $33, almost the entire meal went into the garbage. Had to drive to A & W (soend another $12+) to get another two plain cheese patties for my dogs, at this point, I had lost my appetite as I was really annoyed abd angry at what this cost and almost all went into the bin. DON'T ORDER HERE. Bad Service, Bad Food and expensive. What a stupid waste of money. 😡

Good classic dine-in place. The burger patty left some to be desired and the fries tasted a bit old, but everything else was great. Not very much room to dine inside, but that's by design
Happy to find an old fashioned genuine burger! And very reasonably priced. A refreshing break from overpriced sub par and overdressed imitations. A simple establishment, thoroughly enjoyed.

The burger bun was wet and mushy, they should let people know about sauces, some don't love that, thought I was getting a plain burger with cheese as I asked for. Place smelled like tge sewer is backed up, no salt on burger. I won't go back.

Update sept 2025. Last review was 9 years ago!!! CB Drive Inn has been a Calgary classic for over 20 years I am sure, maybe even 30. They have been in my old neighborhood as long as i can remember. Serving classically delicious take out burgers and fries. Don't drive by it, drive to it and ENJOY!!!!
