I had such a wonderful dining experience thanks to our amazing server, Kidus. From the moment we were seated, he was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal without ever being overbearing.
What really stood out was how thoughtful he was, he surprised my friend with a free dessert for their birthday, which absolutely made their night! That extra touch of kindness didn’t go unnoticed and really added something special to our evening.
Brooke was also very kind and thoughtful! Checking up on us as well and just being positive overall!

He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, gave great recommendations, and was so genuine with the service. It’s rare to come across servers who bring such positive energy while still being so professional. He truly elevated our dining experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Visited cactus club during happy hour and was pleasantly impressed by the food options for all dietary requirements. The ambience is very unique and has good seating for large groups. Tried the Mediterranean bowl and the truffle fries along with their margarita and everything was excellent. Overall, it’s definitely one of Calgary’s better spots for a reliably good dining experience. While it’s not cheap, the quality of food and service makes it worth the price point.
All we can say is Thank you for giving us the most amazing night. A extra thank you, to our server, Kaley for sharing in our night and making it so special. We are 3 siblings, adopted at birth and separated for more than 53 years. We recently found eachother thru DNA and have texted back and forth, but this was the weekend that we finally got to meet face to face. This was our first dinner as a reunited family. Our story seemed to peak the interest of a number of staff and they all came to say hello and share in our special night. Dinner was awesome, we talked and laughed for hours. To top the night off, they surprised us with a slab of chocolate cake with a special message (as it turns out, the three of us are chocoholics - we must be related). Thank you to everyone that made this a night to remember.
