A big thank you to her and the kitchen staff for the complimentary desert to celebrate our anniversary They went above and beyond to make the night and special. FINAL EDIT: Following my previous edit, I received an email from the manager, Brody. In it, he was apologetic for the oversight and lack of follow up. We scheduled a phone call that happened earlier today. Brody again apologized for my experience and listed action steps that should have been taken. He was gracious and I felt heard when I explained my disappointment. Brody did offer to reimburse me for my original bill, to which I declined the offer because as I explained to him, it’s about the money. I am satisfied with how my complaint was resolved and I will definitely give the Macleod Trail location another chance. As such, I have decided to change my review from one star to four. Thank you again Brody.
EDIT: A couple days short of 3 MONTHS LATER…I truly appreciated management’s response to my review and responded to their request within a day. I’ve often seen responses like theirs for negative reviews from others for various places and have used that response to cancel out the negative review. I know that every person and every establishment can have an off day and I love to give everyone a chance. However, Cactus Club - Macleod is making me feel like that time when I was 18 and my boyfriend insisted they were “just friends” after I found a naked Polaroid of her in his car. Don’t lie to me or try to manipulate me and everyone who chooses to read this review. Be true to your word.
Stopped in today for a day date with my man. We were quickly greeted by our server, Sayde. We placed our order for drinks and shortly after, we ordered our food. The food came out quickly and tasted delicious as always. The problem is that after taking our food order, we didn’t see Sayde again until all the dishes at our table had been stacked and our glasses empty. We would’ve stayed for more drinks, but after Sayde let us know she had decided to help out on the patio because the restaurant was dead, I figured the service wasn’t likely to improve and she perhaps thought our money had less value than that of the customers on the patio.
We are regulars at the Crowfoot location and have always received excellent service. I am extremely disappointed with my experience today at the MacLeod location.

Having been to all three CCs in Toronto, I had certain expectations for this one. Though it isn’t as grand as those in Toronto the food and customer service was great.
I can’t remember our server, but she was attentive, kind and respectful. The food, as always, was delicious. I opted for some apps, such as hot wings, the friend chicken and pickles and truffle fries. All three were catered to a gluten allergy and they ensured there was special attention given in the kitchen.
The atmosphere here is nice, cozy, and not overwhelming. However, it does get packed here, and parking can be a challenge.
The only thing I’d suggest is a reduction in their heating, especially when it’s a full house, it gets warm quick. In regard to bathrooms, they’re clean and attended to, so that’s always a plus. Besides temp inside, great place for lunch or dinner, or to hang out and watch the main game on t.v. Keep up the good work.
