Quaint cafe in Bowness. The food is amazing and the coffee is delicious. Kids had hot chocolate and loved it. Drink menu is fab, you can even get floats!!! Great location.. Kids can't stop raving about the food. Big portions!!

I love supporting local. I come here all the time to grab a coffee. today Decided to grab breakfast. There was no cheese in my omelette, and a sliver of avocado, like come on! I said no hashbrowns. She must’ve not heard me cause I had hash on my plate. What really pisses me off the most is the price that I paid overall for everything and the tip before I even got to taste the food. I would’ve had no problem paying what I did for what I ordered if the quality was there very disappointing. I’m assuming they run it this way for staffing reasons just all fine but if you’re going to do that, make sure your shit is top quality or lower your price to the expected outcome. I might as well have gone to Tim Hortons or McDonald’s.

me and my bf went here on august 14 for lunch. it was our first time so we did not really know how the service worked. we went into the restaurant and expected to be greeted however we did not get any hello or anything, so we just figured out that we can just sit wherever we want. the menu was not at the front, it was near the entrance where we have to grab it which was fine for us!
i ordered the huevos rancheros and my bf ordered the classic burger with bacon. my order was really delicious as it had a lot of vegetables and cheese as the ingredients. my bf enjoyed his burger as well, but i found it a little too salty and not moisture. the patty was really dry with no juice on the meat.
bad thing was that they had the door open, so there was so many flies around us. we had more time waving our hands around our food to avoid the flies, than the amount of time for us to eat. it was really disgusting, and it felt really unsanitary ?.
no workers came by us the whole time except for when they dropped our food. wish they checked more on us but maybe that’s just how their service works in this restaurant.
i don’t think i will go back during summer time but i will give it a second thought during winter. ?

Cadence used to be a great spot, not any more! It was not clean, latte was so strong and bitter. Our brunch was swimming in grease which we soaked up with napkins. Bacon had to go back to be cooked more. Ordered a Traditional Breakfast that comes with hashbrowns, they did not arrive! Turned out we hadn't been charged for them. So hashbrowns and toast was an additional $9.25!! Unfortunately, Cadence is no longer on our go to list. P.S. Obviously, it wasn't our imagination, as we arrived just before noon and the place was virtually empty!
Cute little coffee shop! Vanilla latte was delicious, took my brownie to go and haven't tried it yet...I haven't met too many brownies that were disappointing though so my hopes are high!
