It was my first time to experience baked rice. When the waitress brought it, she didn’t remind her that the plate was very hot. The child was young and naive and we didn’t know it would be so hot. The child touched it and cried because it was very hot. Only then did the waiter say that it was very hot. hot. Oh My God! I tested it and it was just as hot as it came out of the oven. Hey, couldn't you tell me that it's very hot when it's served? The child kept crying in pain. This meal was terrible.
I looked at other people's pictures. Why is the baked rice served to me not in the same container? Mine is an iron plate with a handle on top. The child just touched the handle of the iron plate. It was so hot that my hands were blistered.

Not sure which was worse, the food or the service. Waiters had trouble speaking English and communicating in general and the quality of the food was terrible, fatty and small portions for the price.

Decent hk cafe. Price was a bit more expensive from what I'm used to coming from Toronto. But portion size is pretty good. Wait staff fluent in Canto and Mando. Parking lot is a bit busy. Accepts credit cards but not Amex.

The female store manager is always arrogant and slanderous. She often makes mistakes when ordering takeout. She has already double checked and made a mistake. This is not the first time. She can pay the bill without even looking at the customer without saying a word. The service industry is rude.

Have never been impressed with the customer service, but is ok, can’t expect much when they get min wage. I ordered Portuguese baked chicken rice with uber eats delivery, and it came with saying change for tomato sauce instead, the thing is I have never asked for the change, and they didn’t even call me if they ran out of the sauce or something! Please do not come here to order anything with them, absolutely awful!

Generally good cha chaan teng food and drink but knocking off stars for not accepting AMEX and charging extra for takeout boxes/cups.

Discovered this gem a few years ago and eat there regularly enough to say that their food is consistently flavorful and on point!
Asian restaurants (Chinese/Indian) are not always knows to shine in the area of customer service, but we have received warm and helpful service every time. A special shout out to GARY (who only works there Saturdays and Mondays). He always takes the time to chat and share his knowledge of the menu. He is one of the best servers we have ever encountered at any restaurant.
Their menu is extensive and while I often order the beef brisket on rice and my hubby orders the Hainanese Chicken, you can't go wrong with just about anything. Heads up - they have a lunch happy hour special from 2:00 to 5:00.
Everyone we have taken there have enjoyed it.
Interesting Tidbit: they are owned by one owner based in Hong Kong who also owns T-Pot (which we love), Pebble Street, Forbidden City, Sun's BBQ, etc.
Definitely, our comfort choice when we are seeking Hong Kong fusion style food.

We love the food and the HK Style Lemon tea here, however they changed the fresh lemon slides to bended lemon juice which is totally different from the HK Style. Not so happy with the changes.
Update: they finally changed it back to lemon slides, 1 star added??

When I first came here in 2018 I thought it was a pretty average HK style cafe, but over the years this place has really grown on me.
The menu got streamlined and the food continued to get better. That with the generous portions has made this a go to spot for me if I need an Asian fusion fix.

Service can be so-so but the food is amazing! They were out of a few dishes as well which dampened the experience, but the alternatives we chose are great!

I really enjoyed my meal here. The issue was locating this restaurant on the Google map. Since I was from out of town, I had to circle around 3 times before I was able to find it. If you are using Google Maps, I would recommend entering Gong Cha, which is located in the same plaza as this restaurant. There you will find free parking!

The service was just terrible. The waiter was very rude when we asked about the food and recommendations, it didn't seems like he care at all.
